I went to the Bellevue Sonobello last June. I was welcomed by the consultant, Karen Shaw, after talking with her by telephone. Yes, it's a true sales job as she tells you they can really help you and it doesn't matter what size you are, you will lose 2 pant sizes, no more belly and will get rid of fat in areas of concern.

I had abs, love-handles, back or bra rolls, inner & outer thighs, and just under the buttocks that they refer to as "banana roll" areas. It took 3 visits over about 6-8 weeks. I spent nearly $15,000. I am not happy and while there is a modest difference along my sides and upper back, I was still left with a great deal of bulk nearly every other area - particularly the belly which I was very insistent was my primary goal. Even the doctor commented that I had tight skin initially and it did not turn loose as some have said here.

After waiting for nearly 6 months, I definitely needed a revision for my stomach and inner thighs and made an appointment for this as well as to be seen by Dr. Marco Sobrino whom they said was the only one who could authorize this. After he couldn't make one appointment, I had to travel over 50 miles only to wait around for over an hour before being sent home. The second try he was brief, somewhat rude, and claimed there was a "dramatic" difference even while agreeing that I looked like someone's "before" picture. He claimed that he wasn't the doctor who did my procedure, even though it was protocol only to have him see you, and that it was skin and not fat.

There is not a big difference, I still have a great deal of fat, and even my husband can't tell any difference. While it wasn't my husband's idea to do this, his opinions are very candid and supported by independent opinions who said the same, including my general physician, who said, "yes, it's fat." The nurse said she'd contact corporate and get back to me within the week.... nothing and then stopped returning phonecalls altogether. I sent pictures showing the areas of concern to the doctor. Any fool can see that there is not a big difference and I wished I had taken the money and hired a personal trainer! Because after these procedures, it is very difficult to get back to any rigorous exercise for up to 2 months, so don't be surprised if you GAIN weight from the inactivity as I did. Maybe I should have stuck with that diet and exercise... saved my money and been happier!

Sonobello Resolved to my Satisfaction

It has been nearly one year since my first procedure and I have had both my satisfaction and service issues resolved by Sonobello.

I believe they have solved the customer service issues that caused the miscommunications and unsatisfactory follow-up I voiced in the complaint above. There have been several changes in staff and policies that likely contributed to this and my issues have been resolved to my satisfaction.

Therefore, I retract the statements made in the first complaint and, if it had been possible to do so, would remove the statement entirely as well as the old and dated photos.

Please read this in context and believe me when I say that I would delete those posts & pics in a heartbeat if this website allowed... and take heed this warning that RipOff Report will NEVER remove comments even at your beckoning. They claim that they will be permanent and legally binding though they have never obtained so much as a signature!

This is not the normal way of doing business on the internet and I would suggest that RipOff Report resolve this or may start finding comments against their own practices appear.
