South Beach Java Coffee ripoff offers "Free" sample for $4.95 then small print allows charges of $70.oo/ mo on your credit card Ft. Lauderdale, Florida
Company advertised with LeanSpa weight loss program
Offers "Free" sample of coffee for $1.00 plus $3.95 shipping
Long ad with small print evidently saying you have to cancel in so many days or you're in their "program".
Even Mastercard said I should have seen the small print and the company had charged $70. to my account when I had received only a 2 oz. sample when I called Mastercard about the $70.oo charges
The company number I called connected me to some foreign sounding English speaker that I had a very hard time understanding.
Finally when M/C representative got South Beach Java rep on the phone, the rep offerred me a $20 refund! I got an RA# and returned the shipment "refused" when it arrived. I'm waiting to see if I get any refund!.
I would not recommend you do business with these guys!
