Jan.10,2013 I purchased a Transmission for my 2002 Mazda 626 LX from Southwest Engines, at first they were very eager to help me out and get me matched up as they stated with a good Tranny for my car....(boy did they ever) Well I placed the order and I was told I would receive my tranny within 14 days, well biggest flaw it took almost a month to ship and for me to receive it. Well all in all I get the tranny it is installed 4 days after arrival and I begin playing phone tag with them to notify that I had received it and the installation was complete so that my warranty could take affect, Well this all went on more or less in March 2013. Almost the middle of April I receive a package or as it was stated to me a care package to initiate warranty coverage upon reading it states that you have to have their care package applied to the vehicle which are 2 tablets that go in your engine to check engine performance and that your so called installation was performed correctly, Mind you I purchased a Transmission from them not a Motor (Engine). well guess what by this time my car had already stalled, upon inspection of my vehicle by a mechanic he informs me that my TRANSMISSION was blown a transmission that I had just purchased from Southwest Engines and Warrentied through them and EngineLast a little over 3 month prior...(Are you shitting me) Well my mechanic starts playing phone tag with both the people who sold me the transmission as well as the warranty providers, guest what there response was to us that since I had not complied with warranty procedures my warranty had been voided...Even though they sent out thier care package 2 months after I made intial contact with them sooooo who didnt comply with guidelines....Well I have made numerous attempts to contact them via Emails, phone calls, voice messeges and they refuse to answer me. I have lost out a substancial amount of money with their games and inconsideration, I had to repair my Original Tranny, rent a vehicle for the last two weeks prior to getting my car repaired. All in all my Transmission purchase ran $1065.00 plus an additional $400.00 for the installation of the trans. My car rental was $ 408.00 and my repairs for my car to be up and running a total of $2120.00 adding this up it totals out to $3993.00. Money that is not easy to come by with the way the financial situations are, I sure as hell do not have the luxury of saying that this money was easy for me to gather....And yet these people at Southwest Engines dont even have the common decensy to at the very least refund me the price of the transmission I purchased and my rental fees. If there is someone out there that can help me get some kind of refund from these inconsiderate jerks I would greatly appreciate it...Thank You Hoping to hear from someone soon!!
