I bought a car from them on Jan2,2006. Then the nightmare began !

The air conditioner didn't work ( O ring had to be replaced). Another return visit to this rip off dealership. I had complained that when they got my car ready for me to take home the original window sticker had been misplaced. They told me it was in the glove compartment. ( It wasn't) I didn"t know what the sticker price on the car was because they are very tactful in keeping that hidden from you.I called and wanted my window sticker and was told it had disappeared but they would send me another on for a LIKE car for a $25 charge.

The mistake they made was they faxed me a copy and it was far less than I was charged for mine.

After doing some research on other dealerships I just knew they had done something deceitful because an exact duplicate of my car was running $5000 less at Central ( thats why I wanted my window sticker). I talked to their financial rep as well as numerous salesmen. I wanted to speak to the GM Bill Dickinson and they did nothing but shift me from salesman to salesman and would not let me speak to Bill or leave him a message. (A Tatic to wear you out) They lied when I told them I wanted a certain price for the payment and they kept coming back and forth until the payments had grown almost $100 more than I wanted ( I should have bought the Honda I really wanted) I had been driving a Dodge Intrepid and could have bought a new Intrepid for what they charged me for my Spectra.

It doesn't end there, I made several calls to the dealership wanting to speak to Bill and he was always out of the office or not available. (But he is there long enough to make these deceitful commercials RIGHT?) Two years into this car and I am still so frustrated with this dealership

They still call and remind me when oil changes are due and can they make me an appt? NO WAY IN HELL. The molding around my rear passenger door has been wrong since day one, and they say it isn't their fault.... Why not ? IT IS FALLING OFF!

If you buy a car from them plan on having permanent HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE.

They will anger you on every visit or phone call you make. I have had it in the shop several times because the A/C isnt adequate in this car for the TX summers. IF YOU ARE THINKING OF GOING TO SOUTHWEST KIA ...THINK AGAIN.....DON'T DO IT. all the salespeople are crooks and lie to cover up the lies they told before. There is more to this story ,but not enough space.....

As a car dealership employee (not Southwest Kia), I would recommend in the future doing a lot of online research about the dealership and car you are considering buying. Edmunds.com has dealer ratings for the zip code you are in. Southwest Kia ranks very low in those ratings. However, it's a double edged sword. People typically only get on the internet to complain about companies, however rarely do they go on the internet to praise companies. You can't make everyone happy. I'm sure for every complaint a customer has about any company, there are 10 happy customers. However....doing research you will find that Spectra's are not very good cars. Sure they are cost efficient, but you do get what you pay for. As far as the finance process, you have the right to look at your buyers order in the finance dept. In fact, you have to sign it. The buyers order states what the selling price of the vehicle is. Chances are you signed the buyers order with the selling price listed.
