Horrible. Shipped our 290 SeaRay to them to sell. Never heard much from them, and had to pursue through emails and calls. All that they ever did was lower the price. 11 months later we send someone to pick it up because we are so disappointed with Sovereign. Only then do we find out that there had been a gas spill in the boat upon its arrival. Sovereign tore out the brand-new carpeting and then let it sit like that for those 10 months. Never a call, never an email. Their own contract said they were obliged to keep in touch, and inform us of anything that might affect the sale. One would think torn out carpeting and a gas smell might. They also broke the trim and never called about that either, so that may have happened upon arrival too. Then they insisted they had earned the $200 a month, because that was for cleaning, and had nothing to do with selling the boat. The President could not seem to understand that Sovereign had breached the contract, and that our boat was never in salable condition, and that there was a signed obligation to tell us that. Meanwhile, we’re paying $700 a month on the boat and insurance, waiting for it to sell. Ultimately decided to file formal complaint against Yacht and Ship Brokers licenses of both Sovereign as well as David Higgins.

Everytime I post an accureate review stating that this palce is a rip-off Greg write a polite little note saying he is sorry, and that I should contafct him. And if I do? He's a p***k. Beware of this place.

I knew of no leak. The reason I did not know of the leak is that no one bothered to tell me. For 10 months. No call. No email. But you accepted my money each month. Ripoff.

You knew of a gas leak and neglected to tell us about it on the boats arrival.

Dean,

I’m sorry this has happened and that your expectations were not met.

After speaking with our Service Manager and Yacht Salesman David, you knew of a gas leak and neglected to tell us about it on the boats arrival. We’ve been in business and a yacht professional in this area for more than 20 years. Being a business owner and reputable company, I offered to only charge you $100 rather than $200 for dockage but you then threatened a lawsuit and promised to post reviews about our company and David.

Feel free to contact me directly.
