Recently Spotify had an offer running on their website through which they were giving google home mini devices for $1. Since, I was already looking for a good music app, I subscribed to it and claimed my offer. After around 20 days, I got to know that my device was sent back to google since it couldn't be delivered by USPS. I contacted USPS, google and finally spotify and they told me they are going to send me another link to place the order. They sent the link, initially I couldn't place the order and finally when I did, they charged me full price for the device. I contacted spotify for the refund. I honestly was so annoyed by that time that I didn't even want the device anymore. I wanted my money back since it was supposed to be an offer. Its been almost 15 days now and spotify has been telling me that someone from google will contact me soon. I have emailed them at least 5 times to get my money back and I have been getting the same response everytime. Its a shame that such a reputed company has the most horrible customer service I have ever seen and that they are ripping off their customers in the name of "offers". If you ever have to contact spotify customer service - don't! Just swtich to another app and trust me you'll be happier. I still can't believe they charged me for that device and are still not returning the money.
