I bought a 2000 Acura Integra Type-R in May of 2003 from Springfield Acura. 2 months later I brought it in for a problem that my car had.

I dropped it off on a Tuesday morning. After they diagnosed my car they called my girlfriend and told her what was wrong with the car and said that they can't warranty the problem because it was due to a misrev.

They said that they were going to see what they could do. So after a few hours they called my girlfriend again and said that they were going to warranty the work and that they were going to order parts.

So my girlfriend asked the shop foreman if we can take the car home because I didn't want to leave it there for a few days because this dealership is known to get parts of cars stolen.

They told her that the car was not driveable and she asked them to please leave the car in the shop at night because this is a rear car to find. So the parts where supposed to arrive on monday morning.

Yes the parts arrived on monday morning. My girlfriend recives a phone call at about 8:30am, it was the shop foreman saying that the parts were in but the car was not there. They said that the car was parked in the lot and that it was parked by the rear gate...

Video cameras recorded the whole thing except that they could not see the face of the people who stole the car. I got there at about 9:00am and they said that they cannot do anything about what happened..

I asked the service manager about me getting a loaner car in the mean time. He said no. I asked him if I could see the video of the whole incident and he said that the police had it and I had to go there and speak to the police officers.

The police station said that they did not have the tape and that I would have to go to the dealer to get it. Day after day I went there and they would just keep telling me the same thing that I would have to speak to the GM.

Piece of advise to anyone who has bought there car from springfield Acura wait for your car or take it home.. Don't leave it there.....

I know how you feel. The owner of the company is Ron Ciasulli, brother to the legally plagued Bob Ciasulli. They are all a bunch of con artists that know nothing about selling cars. Their only concern is monthly profits. There is no such thing as a loss. In their body shop I was not allowed to show a loss on any job, even if it meant fudging the numbers or taking more money from insurance companies for work that wasn't performed. I wouldn't buy a new car from them let alone a used one. My opinion is to call and mail letters to Ron Ciasulli personally. His home address is 8 Statile Court, Springfield NJ. If you happen to get a response from a man named Frank Cintron, don't bother talking to him, he is just a glorified errand boy. Bill Ronnow is one of the GM's there and he is a slick used car salesman. Good Luck everyone and happy writing.
