I too have been lied to, overcharged, spent hours on the phone, and litterally been raped by contracts I did not know I had.

At that time I had two complains.

1.Extremely high charges for phone service

2. Could not get phone reception at or around my office

In trying to deal with these two issues, I experienced the same run around that others experienced below . I called up to cancel my phone becasue of 500 dollar bills and no cell phone reception in my office.

When I called up in June to cancell my phone service becasue of no reception in my office, I was told.....What can we do to keep your buisness? Let me lower your bill and change your contract to better serve you. Right .....in plain english that meant ,I have added all three of your phones on a new contract which will cost you 600. dollars to cancel after you get tired of us overcharging and decide to cancel. Nothing was signed or disclosed to or did I have any idea that I signed up for a new contract on all three phones. Of course . I found out that the contract is on the back each bill and because they get your social security number gives them the right to change your contract whenever they want to. In otherwords once this company has your social security number they can change your contract at any timeand can use that do make sure by acting like they are helping you out..I called them back up a week later and said I need to cancel because I do not get any cell phone reception at my office.They told me it would be 600 dollars to cancel becasue I just signed another contract. I said I never signed anything . The lady who did this was to call and of course she never did. Then I was told I can get out of the contract if a team could verify there was no reception. This went on for two months where I never used the phones at all. Figured any good company would see that. Nothing happened and no one showed up. So I never used the phone, and when I got ahold of someone from sprint I have not found any trueth exceppt that I will pay dearly.So I waited to be turned over for collections. Need less to say I was turned over for collections for 550 dollars . I paid that before it was to hurt my credit. I will probably find that is a lie too. Probably be on my credit. ..and they want 600 dollars for the contracts .My question is how can a company as unethical as sprint and Nextel continue to grow and prosper?. All people are not stuppid. .How can take hard working person who are concerned about their credit and future and litterally rape them . They can charge what they want to and change the rules with lies as they go. Sure they have to work within a plan but they are continuing setting people up. Sooner or later when you die or decide to change and they will burn you like they did to all of us. If you do not believe me and have sprint ....Call up and try to cancell and see what happens. Is this what we now call buisness..?.....big bussiness.? When Sprint and Nextel are using business practices of money making methods that involve burning relationships of their clients who were unhappy with there sevices and anyone who wants to leave for any reason. From a business point of view. Sprint and Nextel stock will show a reflection of their business practices and soon will be like a falling bridge. If this kind of business practice is done at their client base, can you immagine what is going on at the corporate level. I hope stock investers will evaluate these money making practices of Sprint and Nextel because the next scandel could very well be them
