Sprint raised my bill by $40 this month. When I called to challenge it, they told me that I could sign up for a new plan. I stated that we have more than a year left on our contract and that neither side could unilaterally alter or breach the contract without consequences.
If I were to breach the contract, I would be subject to an $800 penalty. Therefore, I contend that Sprint must pay me $800 since they are the breachers and I have abided by all terms and conditions of the contract.
My bill is paid on time and in full each month. I have been a loyal Sprint customer since 1996 with four lines.
If this is the is the way they treat loyal customers, I can't imagine how they treat others.
It is my understanding that in this past billing cycle, Sprint raised rates for numerous customers with current contracts.
Perhaps it is time for another class action lawsuit and referral to the FCC.
