Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I have been with Sprint PCS for over 2 years. I get paid on the 3rd so it makes it tough to pay on exactly the first. If it is paid on the second or 3rd there is a "service charge" added.

I have never mailed in a payment, instead I chose to pay online. On the 1st or second I log onto the website and make my payment for the month. In December I emailed Sprint and asked what it would take to change my due date from the 1st to the 3rd. I received an email back in January telling me it was swithced from the 1st to the 15th of the month. I thought that was great.

On Feb 2nd I logged onto Sprint PCS and paid my amount due in full, $90.41. Then, on the 14th of Feb I get a call on my cell phone while I am in Wal-Mart. I am told that I have a bill of $114.70 and $85.43 of it is Past Due. If I do not pay on the spot my service will be terminated within hours!! I tried to explain to the person on the phone that I paid my bill in full and received a statement on the 7th stating my bill was $114.70 and was due on the 8th of March.

The entire time people were looking at me trying to explain about not getting my service disconnected. It was very insulting. The man said since my service was changed from the 1st to the 15th, I had to pay an extra month of service starting on the 15 of January. I did not understand, and still do not, but ok. I explained to him my wife and I were on the way to a Valentines Day dinner and could he call me at home later. He said no and I had to pay now, but he had my checking info on file. I said use it and I would call customer service on Monday. He said I had to speak my bank numbers to confirm. I said he was crazy to ask me to state my banking information in a line at Walmart. I said fine I would drive home immediatly and post a payment and he said he would give me 4 hours, and would not call me back.

As soon as I got in the car I called customer service to complain. After 16.54 min I spoke to an operator and said I wanted a supervisor. While wating at home I logged on at home and sure enough the website said my payments we current and my bill was not due until March 8th. I was told I could not speak to one until I told him everything. 24 minutes later I was told the supervison Shaniqua (sp) refused to talk to me, I had to call the business office to arrange payments. I told him again that I just made my payment on line....I just wanted to find out why everybody was so rude. Again, the supervisor refused to speak to me.

Has anybody had this happen to them???? I have been with SprintPCS for over 2 years, pay online and then get threatened with disconnect for a bill that is not even due yet. It is an outrage when the supervisor refuses to even speak to me, because I am a "DEADBEAT". It is insulting

If it sounds like a scam -- Hang up immediately

This really does look like a scam by a third party. If you think your bill is paid OK and get this kind of call, hang up immediately. They are eating your minutes, and really there's no need to talk about this while you're in a store. Then call the real customer no-service line. Ask them simply if your account is overdue. (Hopefully someone there can answer a simple question like that.) If they say it isn't, ask for an investigation of the fraudulent call you just received. Would any real company try to collect an overdue bill by saying "Pay us now or we WON'T call back."? That's a good clue that it's a scam, they're hoping to confuse you with the first call.

Received E-mail apology and credit towards bill

After writing my complaint to this site I emailed SprintPCS and sent them the link and told them my story and asked for a contact/reply. I got an email within 6 hours apologizing for any confusion and offering to give me a 5% discount on my March bill. Even though I was treated very harshly and nobody would speak to me, after sending an email and stating I filed a complaint I was contacted with an apology (which is all I really wanted) and even a 5% credit.

Possible Scam? it may have been a scam by someone other than sprint

Sounds to me like initially it may have been a scam by someone other than sprint, trying to get your bank and or credit card info, so they could de-fraud you. But, what doesn't make sense is that the supervisor's would not speak to you. You would think that they would have wanted to clear the matter up for a loyal customer
