My drama with sprint started about 3 months ago when i terminated my contract with them (early). I was told that my fee for early termination would be $150 per line. I only had 2 lines with them, thus should total ($300).
However, I was initially issued a bill for $905 which could not be explained. After several back and forth phone calls to sprint and their distributor they tried to rectify their mistake and came up with a new charge of $885.38. At this time they also transferred my case to a debt collecting agency (as i had previously refused to pay the unexplained fees ($905)).
The debt collecting agency now started harassing me with phone calls and threatening  to destroy my credit scores if i didn't pay the charges of $885.38. So, yet again i had to call sprint's customer service as well as their distributor who acknowledged an error on their own part, and once again reduced my bill to $499.55 (Remember I canceled ONLY 2 lines at $150 per line($300)).
All of this took place over a course of 3months calling back and forth, speaking to to different representatives, being harassed by debt collectors, while simply trying to justify this outrageous bill.  
What is most interesting about all this; is the fact that they still can not give me a precise break down as to what exactly I am paying for.  Instead I am just given a "figure" that I supposedly owe and excuses as to why I can not get a detailed outline of my bill.  This is not only outrageous, but out right fraudulent, what is so difficult about simply providing me with a break down of my charges or am I only to assume that they are hidden charges and tactics to extricate money from my pockets.

Did you get free phones from them when you open the service? If so, the hidden cost may be from the phones. Most people do not carefully read the contract or fine prints in the contract. Phone companies usually charge for the phone they claim to be "free" if the consumer do not use their service for the whole contract length (but the language they use in the contract may be different but still has the same meaning).

I  contacted sprint on( 888 211 47 27) the  lady i spoke with told me that they will adjust the bill once again from $499.55 to $400. To me something is still missing sprint wont provide me with the break down of the bill.
