I can't verify that each of these things happened, but they sound EXACTLY like the type of thing Koch would do. If I heard these, especially the one about the driver manager and taking the truck to KS, I would immediately guess Koch. The KS one I wouldn't be guessing, I would know that was Koch.

I was roped into their Lease Purchase program back in 2005. They had me paying on this beat-up Freightliner that they had bought used from JB Hunt. It kept breaking down and Koch was taking the costs of the repairs out of my wages. I paid for the engine. tires, electrical wiring, and a new front bumper. Total cost was over $5000.00. After I had worked it off, they cancled my contract. Refused to give me any explination as to why this was happening. I also was being shorted on wages and fuel surcharges.
I drove for 1 month and got a check for only $200.00. The rest went into the rig. On top of it all, Kock reported my wages to the IRS as being way more than I made. So now I have to pay back taxes on wages that I didn't receive. They took back the truck I had been paying on and I did not receive any compensation for it. Plus when I was on the road, they had me deliver to TX on a Friday. The destination was closed by the time I got there. They constantly made me sit in my rig the entire weekend till they opened on Monday morning. No pay for sitting at a receiver. Try to call Koch's dispatch on a weekend and you will get no where!

This is not a rebuttal, but agreement with Robert. I worked dor Stan Koch & Sons for 4 months. I picked up my truck in Minneapolis and they sent me to Lawerence Ks. in their K-Mart fleet. I got married and move to another state. The driver manager I had said he had to place me back over the road because he couldn't get freight to get me home. I agreed to it. He said that wasn't going to happen "putting it nicely" and that if I moved he will terminate me. I moved and he wanted me to drive the truck to Lawerence, Ks. and find my own way home. I said no that I will take the truck to Minneapolis where I was assigned the truck. He told me if I did that he would report the truck stolen and have me arrested. I told him where truck was parked and come get it, that I'm not going to Ks. I tried to call driver liason and corperate office in Mn. Driver liason never called back to help and corperate office said to talk to driver manager. My problem was with driver manager. Here it is 6 months later and still sitting out of work.
