Staples Suck !! Especially Moline Illinois and Davenport Iowa. Sale items are limited to quantities that are NOT on hand. They never have anything that is listed in their sale add.

Nathan, this rude jerk who's supposed to manage the Moline store acted like it was my fault that I wasn't there at opening time Sunday, when they are the ones that ran the newspaper add, and never list limited quantities, and didn't have any of the items in stock in the first place. Last week it was 17" monitor and this week its a 200 gig hard drive, and a free tango cordless phone after rebate.

So after leaving the store yesterday I called staples 800 number and order the cordless phone and they send me a email confirming order. Then today they call and say they are out of stock and are canceling my order. What a bunch of lame idiots !! They should have known before taking the order and charging my credit card.

Oh BTW, the moron that works in electronics dept told me to go home and order online and get FREE SHIPPING since the store doesn't have the item in stock. COMPLETE LIES !! No free shipping when the store doesn't have it. What arrogant idiots. Bait and Switch is what they are all about. They need to offer a substitution's when they put something on sale that they never had and aren't getting in again.

Their customer service is grossly incompetent. They don't care about you, just about selling tons of extended warranties.
