Stassinos Law Offices refuses to provide reciept of payment Bakersfield California
I am a realtor and deal with clients who have collections quite often when they go to get their mortgage loan. This company is refusing to provide my client a receipt for her payment on her collection she owed and paid. She had two checks from 4 years ago for pizza that didn't clear the bank. The staff there is very rude even when your calling to pay it off. The staff had the nerve to tell my client that she is committing fraud because she she asked that if she pays in full will they be willing to delete it completely of the credit reports. The staff also stated they are not allowed to negotiate the amount to pay in full. So my client paid the amount owed on both accounts by western union and they refuse to provide her a reciept of payment. Not only that I called and got the same response from them. They also said it may take 4-6 weeks for it to show on the credit report. By law it MUST be corrected/updated in 30 days.
I cannot believe they will not provide a receipt. I did find on my google search that some is doing a class action suit and I will try to get this information to them if I can locate it again.
