What a pleasure to read Jack's update and learn that he obtained well-deserved justice through the small claims court and was reimbursed for the wrongful towing of his car. It didn't take a rocket scientist to understand the circumstances and what had occurred. Very simply, there were no posted restrictions (which gave rise to the claimed purpose for the tow and impoundment) at or anywhere near the spot where Jack lawfully parked his car. No party or person has the right to tow (steal) another person's property under those circumstances. I also applaud Jack's efforts to help Tom see himself as others see him, even providing the resources that might assist Tom in understanding his uncivilized shortcomings. (Perhaps Tom could make a printout of this report for a shrink of his choosing to help rid him of his demons.) Jack's update was most helpful in that it provided a solution -- and courage -- for others who might also have had their vehicles unlawfully towed. Thanks, Jack.

Well congratulations on taking charge & doing something. Although you may have won in court I still feel you were WRONG. And as far as your GRAMMAR CORRECTION & SPEELING CHECK. I dont proofread my posts. I type as fast as I think so sometimes I miskey a little bit. Sorry, no spellchecker or such on this site. Also while you may think criticizing grammar & such makes you feel BIGGER & BETTER than others, it doesnt. It just shows that you were WRONG & are trying to deflect from the main issue. Tom's rebuttal encouraged me to pursue this matter further. I took the towing company to small claims court for wrongful towing. There were no signs posted with any restrictions. Thanks to Tom's anger over WHINERS, I won my case and reimbursed for wrongful towing. Where did you learn your eloquent grammar and writing skills? Mattel? Tom, I struggled through school with grammar and still do. I am far from perfect, but when I post messages on public forums, I do my best to write coherently so those who read my feedback do not have to struggle to understand what I am trying to convey with clarity. Let me prove my point that you are STUPID, and an IDIOT as well as a Hypocrite. In your second point, you should place a comma after again. In your third point, I believe you meant to spell Courthouse: and not Courthous. In your fourth point, you should place a comma after jail. You should also have changed your spelling of Courthous to court house or Courthouse. At least be consistent, even if you are wrong. In your last paragraph, inconclusion is actually two-words. The correction is in conclusion. The last paragraph of your rebuttal, the second sentence you use the word cant. The correct spelling is can't or cannot. In the same paragraph, the third sentence the word consuqences is correctly spelled as consequences. In the same paragraph, the fifth sentence you should spell the word dont as don't or as two-words, do not. Again, the same paragraph, the seventh sentence you state in your sentence about how he was DISABLED. I recommend the phrase, about how he is DISABLED. Your use of the word a in the same sentence should be an. Once more, the same paragraph you spell isnt incorrectly. This should be isn't or is not. In the eighth sentence, the word Look is not the first word of the sentence and correctly spelled in lower case as look. Marilynn, thank you for expressing your insight into my complaint, it is well founded. Tom boasts, I am like 30 miles from where this took place. I live three-miles from these facilities and my office is less than one-mile from them. That does not make me an expert on their campus and since Tom lives 30-miles away, it sounds like he has been to these facilities several times, probably for many legal matters. I feel sorry for Tom. He has stated he has proved his point about me being a WHINER, and a STUPID IDIOT. Tom has provided no positive or constructive feedback and has only proved with his eloquent grammar skills that he is STUPID. This misuse of grammar not only confirms that, it also illustrates he is a hypocrite. A few simple definitions of the word STUPID are: 1. Slow to learn or understand, obtuse. 2. One who tends to make poor decisions or careless mistakes. 3. Lack of intelligence or care; foolish or careless: stupid mistake. 4.Pointless; worthless: a stupid job A few simple definitions of the word IDIOT is: 1. A foolish or stupid person. 2. A person of profound mental retardation having a mental age below three years and generally being unable to learn connected speech or guard against common dangers. The term belongs to a classification system no longer in use and is now considered offensive. Finally, I have provided irrefutable evidence that Tom is a hypocrite. A definition of the word HYPOCRITE is: 1. A person who professes beliefs and opinions that they do not hold. The unfortunate and poor use of Tom's grammar skills clearly supports his own stupidity. OK Marilynn, I will answer you on your points. 1. Not sure if you know this but Arlington is right in the middle between Dallas & Fort Worth or what we call the Metroplex. I am like 30 miles from where this took place so I am familiar with it. 2. I have worked in Downtown Dallas & have passed these parking lots & remember when that JAIL was built & everything. So once again another point show my familiarity with the area. 3. I have often commented to others how those parking lots make lots of $$$ cause of them charging Jurors & others that have to use them to visit the Courthous & Jail. I am actually envious of the owners of them as they are literally sitting on what I consider a BUSINESS GOLD-MINE. 4. I do not own or have any affiliation with any of the property, parking lots, jail or court house involved. I do however wish I did as mentioned in item #3 above. 5. As far as I know the State of Texas, Dallas County or the City of Dallas gets no benefit from these parking lots. They are owned privately & I am sure worth a great deal due to common real estate logic....(Location, Location, Location) So inconclusion Marilynn, YOU ARE TOTALLY WRONG about everything you have alleged. I just cant stand WHINERS & IDIOTS that cry when they act STUPID like in this case. People need to take responsibility for their actions & live with the consuqences. Tom's insulting, irrationally vehement, and very hasty rebuttal to Jack's complaint really poses some questions about Tom's interest in Jack's distressing experience. Tom (from Arlington, Texas) seems particularly knowledgeable about the exact configuration of these two taxpayer funded public buildings in Dallas and the deceptive "private" parking lot that abuts one of them. Tom's outcry is so defensive that it leads the reader to wonder if Tom or an associate (1) was instrumental in the decision to have Jack's car towed and impounded, (2) benefitted financially from the seizure of Jack's car, or (3) owns the unposted "private" parking lot in question. Besides the financial gain for owner(s) of this "private" lot as well as the towing company, does the State of Texas also get a cut of the profits made from owners of vehicles that are towed -- justly or unjustly -- from this "private" parking lot?

Once again you are still PROVING my point. Why should the girl at the TEXAS STATE JAIL have to tell you that you are parked wrong. And how do you know she did see you. Once again you are ASSUMING something like a IDIOT. Also like I said, those lots are PRIVATELY OWNED, hence she doesnt need to tell you anything. Yeah I feel for you that you got beat up. But that still doesnt give you the right to special treatment or anything. So this does show you were STUPID that day. Maybe you shouldnt have been there at all yet, or better yet, should have had someone who wasnt SO STUPID. You do not seem to understand what I wrote, so at the risk of stooping to your level, you are BLIND and STUPID. You do not comprehend what you read or you ignored the second sentence in my complaint. I walked through the front door if the State Jail building and most all of the front of the first floor of that building is glass. When I asked where to go, the lady inside saw where I parked and said nothing about me moving my car and made no attempt to simply open the door and tell me I would have to move my car. I would have been more than happy to move my car and pay for parking if that is what I needed to do. I pay for parking all of the time. Since there is a traffic signal for pedestrians between these buildings as well as a huge crosswalk, it seemed to me that the complex was part of the same campus. I was on their campus on criminal business, a crime against the State of Texas. You further mention I expect Special Treatment. I have four separate medical health problems each separately qualifying me as permanently handicap. I do not expect as you say Special Treatment, I need it. Five days previous to this (I was in the hospital for four days) I was beaten and within minutes of being murdered by some drunken lunatic. So I admit I have not been thinking clearly and was quite tearful when I was present that day asking where I needed to go for the Criminal Protective order. I was at this location seeking protection from a crime committed against the State of Texas and myself. It would have taken those at the State Jail less time to inform me that I could not park where I did than it took for them to call a towing company. So, maybe my complaint is not that they are a rip-off. Maybe it is more fitting that their actions were simply those of indecent public servants without compassion and mean-hearted. In contrast to what happened at the State Jail, I was at the Jack Evans Police building yesterday and they had a sign posted stating that parking was for the Jack Evans building only. So, if the City of Dallas can afford to post a sign regarding their parking, the State of Texas should do the same. That was my point you Blind and Stupid person. I would take your response seriously if you were constructive in your response and didn't simply call me BLIND AND STUPID. I stole nothing from the State of Texas such as free parking. From the tone of your reply to my complaint it seems to me that you enjoy flaming people. There was nothing constructive about what you wrote and I will waste no further time addressing you. Flame someone else because I have better things to do. The facts and my ending complaint remain the same, Never go to the Government and expect protection or justice.

If you go back down there, I am sure you will find signs saying you will be TOWED if you are not a customer of their establishment. While the STATE JAIL may be the establishment, it doesnt mean they are subsidizing parking for the City of Dallas Criminal Courts building. Face it, you were in the wrong & now you want to whine about being handicapped & think you deserve SPECIAL TREAMENT.
