I went to Steimberg at the request of my endocrinologist because I have an enourmous nodule that protrude from my neck. During the sonographic image, naturally concerned that I was I asked if the technician could see the nodule (it was a rethoric question to ask her if she thought it was something serious) she said she could see it clearly but it would be the call of the physician to interpret the results (we know that but still try to foresse something, so I wasn't surprised that she coudlnt comment on that) When I came to pick up the results interpreted by Hney Chang, M.D. there was a reading of no nodules, no protuberance and nothing on my neck nothing to be noticed in the ultrasound and no mass. This was absurd. I took the results to my endocrinologist without making any comments. When he read the results he said he could see the nodule with naked eyes and could not comprehend the assessment that Henry Chang made. Had they mistakenly prepared a record of someone's else? Steimberg used to be good and reliable, but something happened to this business. I will never again set foot on this place, if I can avoid.
This kind of irresponsability not only can cost lives, but it also cost money. Medicare wont' approve the same test four days later, so I would have to pay it out of my pocket. I'll try to contact Steimberg, but being that this nodule is so large and can be seen with naked eyes, I truly can't justify the report M.r Henry Chang prepared, no nodules? no mass? No abnormalities?....what had he being drinking? Does doctor Henry Chang thinks it is normal to have a ping pong size ball protuding from a neck?
Mr. Henry Chang either had the wrong records or he shouldn't be employeed by a reputable company, which makes Steimberg a discredited service. I hope this help someone to avoid the time and expense, not to mention that I drove to the mountains to see my physician and that visit was also for nothing. One irresponsible act and so many consequences.
