Steve Nielsen Liars, Scammers, and Thieves Fox Lake, Illinois
Steve Nielsen is a LIAR. He has no sympathy for anyone. I had called his dealership to inquire about a 2002 Jeep Wrangler. He told me the vehicle was is excellent condition, with no rust and only 102,000 miles on it. I drove all the way from Wausau, Wisconsin to Fox Lake, Illinois (about a 4 hour drive) to look at this vehicle and much to my dismay, I was lied to. The Jeep had 202,000 miles on it, none of the lights worked, and there was rust that was crudely covered with spraypaint all along the bottom of the Jeep.
Needless to say I was infuriated! Steve then proceeded to tell me that he could "save me some money" if I took it home the way it was. After I repeatedly said no to his offers he proceeded to give me his card and told me to give him a call him if I needed anything else. It was the worst experience that I've ever had purchasing a vehicle and I hope that no one ever has to deal with Steve Nielsen or his Fox Lake dealership
