Stompeez Slippers for children, what can i say? DO NOT BUY! They are a scam, very expensive, ignorant, poor customer service. I ordered the Stompeez slippers for my grandson approx. 2 1/2 mo. ago and I wanted them for his bday. I ordered blue puppy slippers and their ears are suppose to pop up and down and squeak. Well I received purple puppy slippers instead, and the ears didn't move and they didn't make a sound. I called to complain after being on hold for 30 min. i finally got ahold of someone who told me that they shipped the purple because the blue was on back order. So without even consulting me, they decided to ship purple verse blue and my credit card was charged 27.90. (I could've bought cuter slppers from Walmart or Kmart for a fraction of the price) They told me they would ship the blue slippers free of charge along with the free duffle bag and I can keep the purple slippers. Well it has been 2 months now and they are still on back order? Looks like I won't even get them for Christmas. Now when I call their customer service number goes to a dead end and their website is down.  I finally got through by calling their 1-800 number 10 times to get ahold of a customer rep.  and I was on hold for 1 hr. By this time I was very angry and I spoke to Jose #12611 who insisted they cannot credit my card until I ship the purple slippers back to them. I do not have the original packaging cause this was ordered 2 in a half mo. ago and I was promised the blue slippers and I could keep these. Well I am furious now, I have to pay shipping and handling to ship their purple slippers back to them before they can credit my card. And who's to say they will? They are not a reputable company and don't keep to their word. They promise on time shipments to their customers and break them. Now they want me to trust them to credit my card after i ship the purple one's back to them. I emailed FOX NEWS and I hope they do an investigation on them. They need to stop ripping off people. These puppy ears don't move at all, they don't make any noise. Even a 100 lb. person couldn't make these ears move. False advertisement and their company needs to be shut down immediately and put them out of business!!!!
