Storage Protector Computer Diagnostic And Repair Pay $70.00 to have your computer infected with a host of viruses and spyware! Gardnerville Internet
My computer became infected with spyware. I went to the Microsoft Help window and StoragePro popped up. I thought it was a program sanctioned by Microsoft. It was supposed to cost $39.99 and clean my computer. I downloaded it and it seemed to work for two days. Then my Windows shut down and I had to go on through Safe Mode. This StoragePro program had totally disappeared from my computer. I wrote to Storage Protector and they gave me an e-mail address to get it back and offered me phone assistance-for $5.00 a minute!
Meanwhile, I did some Internet research and found that this company downloads spyware and other malware onto your computer and then pops up their repair website to get the money from you. They actually do not fix anything. They add more malware and viruses to your computer through this program to see if they can make even more money from you.
Also, they took $69.99 from my bank account. They sent me some other program that I did not want and did not buy. Come to find out, at the end of their webpage, there is a box already checked off that says you would also like to purchase this program. I did not even see this already checked off box when I ordered the StoragePro program. I asked for my money back for both programs or at least this extra program (several times) and I never heard from them.
