Help! I wrote a ripoff report on July 27 but no one responded. This is a more detailed attempt. Help me or I drown...

I borrowed $6,000 to purchase the rights for 6 Storesonline websites (I was told that the contract had to be signed that same day or the cost would nearly double! My first mistake was to act on such blackmail!)

Then I borrowed another $1,000 to pay SOL to arrange for a guide to help me set up at least one of the sites for some cash flow - because their online and on paper instructions are too complex, too detailed and not userfriendly for the average individual.

I literally invested a couple of hundred hours to set up my first website - and was assured that only 40 hours was necessary for the set up / start up. I did this while keeping my 40 hour a week "long-term temp" day job. I did this with a damaged left hand... which still has not recovered completely.

Yes, my site through Storesonline now "looks" okay, but it's "broken" because it cannot effectiveoly make a cashflow - for many reasons, but here are two basic ones:

1) my products must come through a dropshipper (referred to me by Storesonline only after I paid them an additional $1,000). The dropshipper is a larger, successful operation who now can afford to, and does, sell the same products on his own website at or below wholesale - which makes my site completely redundant! (Other links on Google do this very thing - as if I should have known, and as if I can afford to do likewise!)

If your have a website that sells a distinctive product, for example, wheat grass, and if you have a family or other people to volunteer to pack and ship for you - congratulations! Such people have no problems with SOL becuasew they never really needed them! Happy testimony is rare - and what makes a powerful lure for SOL draw in the many other innocents who really do believe what they claim to sell: service!

Getting real career training is less expensive and more authentic than the Storesonline bunko operation!

Because if, like most hard working people, you are relying on the promises of Stores On Line when they assure you that their charges will cover these costs:

a) help in starting your own business,

b) help in finding a popular online product that will sell,

c) help in finding an honest shipper for you,

d) walking you through building an independant site, using their powerful tools and

e) teaxching you techniques that will make it possible to market and sell online exclusively --

then, hasta la vista baby! It ain't so!

All your hard and creative work will show no viable cashflow. And the company has a no refund policy - a double whammy!

2) You also get competition from the few who make it through the SOL gamut. Other SOL influenced websites will have the same "cookie cutter" look that yours will (unles you can invest yet more hundreds or thousands of dollars. SOL prepares other sites to sell similiar products and use the same SOL techniques.

My site does not appear in the Google top 10 - or top 50 .... I'd have to resort to old fashioned snail mail advertisements and radio ads; the internet marketing part is not viable through google alone, as promised it could be. You can only hope for internet sales.... maybe!

SOL will continue to bill for monthly fees after charging yet an additional new $150 additional "going live on line" fee (what was the original $6,000 for again? Oh, right, for the opportunity to pay online charges to SOL forever!!!) And -- oh yes, they often lose your paperwork and ask for duplication.... including duplication $150 payment.

It is never going to be my site, as they had promised it would be. It will not even be profitable unless I had my own distinctive product and own business before having met up with the slickest Willie in town.

I am in danger of losing my apartment and in danger of a bankruptcy - which will make it very difficult to qualify for a real and worthwhile job. I am in serious financial trouble as a result of articulate and deceptive people who know how to make money indeed. They don't even need to use a gun for their holdups!

If anyone is smart enough to blame me, let them dare to be compassionate enough to help me. I did the best I could. I invested serious time, money and effort - much hard work and creative effort.

Now I have no savings to find an honest, compassionate and skillful attorney. I have to repay the $7,000 I borrowed. I need surgery soon and may even have to let my health insurance (through Cobra) go. No apartment, no job, no health, no savings - but golly I have a pretty SOL website - with no cashflow.

Do you really want to give up much of your life just to pay Storesonline to be their unsuccessful sub-contractor? That... is where their road leads: financial slavery.

And if you are one of the SOL poster children who permits your testimony to help SOL lure in those who cannot afford to be lied to -- or worse, if you gleefully boast and blame the victims as they fall - may God help you too!

Shemonika - please, please contact me! Advise what shall I do?

Shemonika - Alorton, Illinois - posted "You can file on [DELETED] to be put on the civil action suit list, believe me it's long." I went to the site and couldn't find the list. Can you provide more information on how to join the list? I, too, was ripped off! [Place your comments below and be sure to include your FULL contact information so Rip-off Report can contact you.]

What to do?

Hi Robyn, This is Shemonika and here's what you need to do? First, file a report with the BBB, also file a report with the Attorney General or Consumer Protection in your home state and Utah where the business is located. You must explain what Storesonline did to you by keeping your bank statements, any complaints filed, you can use the comments on here as leverage. They do not a court case, believe me. This is a lot of work, but it is worth it, if you want those people out of your life. The Utah government is www.utah.gov and the BBB is www.bbb.org. Make sure you file a complaint in your state first. I also know they have a satellite office in California, so file a BBB complaint there too. I am currently negotiating my situation with them now. You can file on [DELETED] to be put on the civil action suit list, believe me it's long. [Place your comments below and be sure to include your FULL contact information so Rip-off Report can contact you.] I will take time to make things happen and by law, they have fix your credit, if Fair Financial was responsible for charging off your credit. I hope this helps.
