Strategic Tax Resolutions INCOMPETITENT THIEFS Carlsbad California
STR took me for $3525 because I believed them. It was very frustrating to say the least because it took me a while to realize and accept the fact that they are thieves. Period.
They changes representatives faster than spit. Phone numbers didn't work. They did not answer my questions, nor return dozens of phone calls. When I did talk directly to Hunter Ross, he talked so fast that it was hard to catch what he was saying. His promises were empty.
End result, they made so many errors and ommissions and stupid, unfounded avenues, I finally stopped them and requested a refund. I pointed out that they were not familiar with the simplist tax laws regarding Publication 17 and Publication 564. I documented dozens of absolute errors on the so-called returns which they prepared. What a joke. The joke was on me. My CPA felt sorry for me, that I was ripped off by these incompetents, who were so blatantly ignorant.
STR just takes your money, and if one is dumb enough to accept their plan and bogus operation, it would cost you everything you ever owned.
Here's how stupid and mean they are. They were going for an offer in compromise knowing full that I could never qualify for that. My assets far surpass any debt I might owe the IRS. Anyway, I gave them every bit of information they would ever need and the IRS provided all other information. If only I had looked into STR's background before I made that call to them.
I'm currently planning to file a small claims suite against them. I have to. Somebody has to put them out of business. The state attorney general must do something. God forgid any more of us getting ripped off by STR.
