On 02/02/2019, I was reading their ad online....like a nut I clicked further into it. After reading for awhile, I put the antenna and a warranty in my PayPal cart. An ad popped up (of course) to sell me something else. This pop up ad clearly stated "you may review your cart before completing your purchase." It was their site not the PayPal site. I clicked no thanks to the extra merchandise and boom my cart purchased WITHOUT review.
I immediately called their customer service...closed. What a surprise !!! I sent an email with the order # to cancel stating I would call to confirm the email. On 02/03/2019, I sent another email to cancel the order. On 02/04/2019, I called customer service @ 855-282-8073. I was hold from 1:31 pm - 2:44 pm before anyone answered.
Jean then answered and stated she "would check to see if a refund was possible." I told her that there was no if, a refund would be issued. She then stated she would be back on the line in a couple of minutes. WTH? Upon her return, again, she started to ask "if I would be interested in still trying the antenna...." I interrupted her with a "NO, just say your refund will be $52.90. Thank you. Goodbye." She said " Well, that's what I was going to say." I hung up....I checked my PayPal account daily until 02/08/2019...nothing.
So I called customer service @ 855-282-8073 (these 2 words are a joke for this company) again. This time it was Ann after I was on hold yet again for 1 hour 17 minutes. Ann went to check with Jean on my refund. When Ann returned to the phone, she said: "Jean processed your refund on 02/05/2019. Just give it time, maybe 10 more days before it credits your account."
I said "that was unacceptable because: #1. it didn't take them that long to take my money . #2. it doesn't take that long to credit money and #3 I am tired of dealing with you & the procrastination. Thank God for PayPal. I will tell them what you said and they can deal with you".....My voice got a little loud .Okay a lot loud.
I hung up almost 2 hours after dialing the number! Not 2 minutes later, Ann was calling my house. I yelled at her not to be calling me that it was now in PayPal's resolution Center and hung up on her. I clicked on my email account 2 seconds later (to drag/drop the file to PayPal) and guess what? I had an email informing me that I had a credit to my PayPal account!! WOW!!!! PayPal carries some weight....
Isn't a shame that everyday citizens who work hard for their money have to go to extreme measures to get refunds from these lousy fly by night companies or an end to their ridiculousness. Thank goodness for sites like this where revenge is sweet and others can be warned. Beware people. This company is a rip off and has HORRIBLE customer service!!!!!!!
