In regard to comments above from Dr. Michael Sulivan's office:
"We stand by our results and our commitment to excellence". I asked that you stand behind your promise to achieve results and to stand behind the products you use in the office. Instead, once I complained it seemed as if I was bothering people in the office and Dr. Sullivan did not care that I was unhappy.
If a patient does not achieve the results promised then Dr. Michael Sullivan should refund the money, giving the circumstance that Dr. Michael Sullivan admitted to his mistake and did not do the injection properly to achieve the results we discussed as an end result from the injections.
Dr. Michael Sullivan tried to tell me that my skin was like this before and it was a "wrinkle", after I insist on a 2nd visit then finally he admits that it was his fault and suggest I wait for a few months to see if it gets better. What an insult! He tried to get out of owning up to his mistake.
Considering I use to work at local publications, I know to be a fact that in most cases when a person or doctor is named on a list it is usually an entry submitted by the person and usually the one and only entry which unfortunately makes it look like this person is #1. Also, it's usually not based on client satisfaction or experience, it's usually based on who ever wants to pay the entry fee to have exposure on the list!
Dr. Michael Sullivan should be ashamed to make such a mistake, making me feel insecure with my appearance and then lying to me saying it was a wrinkle. Fortunately I took before and after pictures, it's demeaning to lie to someone when he was in the wrong! It's obvious he messed up with the injections and does not care to keep his word with his patient.
I recorded my last office visit and have on tape Dr. Michael Sullivan admitting to his mistake!
I'm also curious if this "organized" office ever found my patient file so that Dr. Sullivan knows what he actually injected during my visits, this could be dangerous if someone had an allergic reaction.
It's ok, I can cost this office more business financially than what I actually lost! I have told everyone I know about this poor experience, terrible results and how I was treated after Dr. Michael Sullivan messed up my lips! All he had to do was apologize sincerely and refund my money! Instead he tried to lie to me about the crease above my lip that he caused with his poor service/lack of expertise in cosmetic filler.
I see at least 10 people each day, 10 people that could have been potential or current clients that will never use the Sullivan Centre. I have informed them of the facts and my terrible experience with the Sullivan Centre.
Instead of using a magazine ranking which is bogus, try standing behind your "commitment to excellence". When something goes wrong and a client is not happy, don't disrespect them when they are in need, try helping them and correct what was messed up or refund their money!
I hate the results and did not get the what was promised from the Sullivan Centre in Columbus, Ohio!
This was only a $549 expense, a simple lip enhancement, I would be afraid to use the Sullivan Centre for anything surgical or long term.

The Sullivan Centre's goal is to help every patient have a positive experience. We work closely with our patients, doing everything we can to achieve a satisfying result. Unfortunately, sometimes the solutions offered to patients are not what they want to hear.
We stand by our results and our commitment to excellence. Dr. Michael Sullivan was named 2011 Best Plastic Surgeon by This Week , Top Doc by WBNS-TV and has been voted by his peers as one of the Best Doctors in America for the past fourteen years. These awards are testament to his excellent track record and ongoing commitment to patient care.
As a medical practice, our duty to protect patient confidentiality prevents us from commenting on the specifics of any case. Our policy has always been to be open and honest with patients starting at the initial consultation. We pride ourselves in educating patients regarding their procedure and explain the importance of proper expectations. We explain very clearly, both verbally and in written form, the risks associated with cosmetic procedures. In addition, every patient is required to sign an informed consent prior to any procedure or injection.
In sum, we do our best to give every patient the best possible experience and outcome.
