Sullivan Roofing and Remodeling Ross Sullivan Took down payment for garage repairs and never performed the work and has disappeared. White Pigeon Michigan
In August of 2013 I hired Ross Sullivan of Sullivan Roofing and Remodeling to replace my small garage roof. I paid Ross Sullivan partial payment to begin work on the first weekend in August. Ross Sullivan then disappeared and dodged all attempts to contact him. I was able to catch up with Ross Sullivan when I found out his was picked up on a parole violation (didn't know prior that he was a parolee). Upon release from DOC in mid Oct contact was made and he agreed to return the deposit money. After that converstation he is again dodging attempts to contact and refuses to return the money.
It is February 2014 and now my only recourse to have the money returned is through the courts. I also discovered that Ross Sullivan is NOT a licensed contractor and the State of Michigan has no record of him ever being a licensed contractor. Advertising yourself as a licensed contractor when you are NOT is a crime in the State of Michigan so I made an offical complaint, that is being investigated, with the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs. I've filed a complaint with the BBB, which is the second complaint he has refused to respond to.
Since this whole mess has started I've been contact by other citizens of St. Joseph County that told me they were scammed in a similar fashion my Sullivan Roofing and Remodeling.
Note: I have left reviews with all manner of social media to warn people. He likes to delete and repost his company on yellow page, super pages, yelp, yahoo, etc. to avoid the bad review.
