Signed up to win two free round trip tickets to Hawaii from Sun Labs.  They called me about a week later and said I won.  Then proceeded to tell me I could only get the tickets if I purchased $200 of their product.  Since I am General Manager of 3 day spas in Las Vegas, I decided to purchase the product and give it to my employees to try out so that I could decide if I wanted to sell their products in our spas.



The products came and included a certificate from Studio Beauty Warehouse (SBW). The certificate states only that the voucher I will receive is good for "two fully paid round trip airline tickets to Hawaii".  It also states that the voucher holder understands that they are fully responsible for paying for their own hotel accommodations, food and ground transportation.  No problem, right?  



At no time during the numerous conversations I had with Sun Labs/SBW did anyone mention that my hotel accommodations had to be purchased through their travel company as a stipulation to receive the airline tickets.  I sent my certificate in 90 days prior to my expected travel dates, as indicated. 



The voucher I received back from SBW was a travel voucher that states in bold letters right on the front:  "This Airfare Package is only available with the purchase of deluxe accommodations, for the specified nights, at current published rates, through Holiday Travel of America".  When I called SBW to ask about this, their representative in customer service said that they all have a protocol to follow and I should have been informed of this.



When asked for a manager, they gave the name of Haywood Hunter as the president and gave me an aol email address to contact him.    I am shocked and a little suspicious that when asked for a manager, I get the name of the company president and his "personal" email address. 



They have no intention of making this right and I have since reported them to the Holiday Travel company as a shady representative of their services as well as the Better Business Bureau and will find any other avenues I can to make sure this does not happen to anyone else.
