Sun Radio Network Jason Bailey They promise performance based advertising - but take your money and that's the last you will hear from them. Boca Raton, Florida
Sun Radio Network, run by Jason Bailey and Steve Gallagher, has stolen money from us - and at least four other companies I'm aware of. They sell advertising for their syndicated radio shows. Their pitch was that they wanted to run an aggressive schedule for our client's and then, after we saw the results from that run, would bonus more media until the responses from the commercials equaled the amount we spent up front (several thousand dollars). We agreed on set pricepoint for each response - again, so that we could have our commercials run until he responses, at those pricepoints, equaled the amount we spent.
Not only did we not hear back from them after the first weeks schedule, but their "national" reach was barely able to generate any response at all. I finally reached Jason Bailey, the CEO, and was given the run around. "send me your emails and contracts and I'll look into it and get right back to you" he said. I did just that - and never heard back. I emailed and called many times - none were returned.
In the last year I have run into a few other companies, like ours, who placed media for their clients on a performance based basis (their big pitch) only to never hear back and, like us, have their money stolen.
I know some have sued, others didn't lose enough to justify the time and hassle. I found out recently that Jason Bailey has done this before with other companies he owned/ran, only to close shop when enough people started coming after him.
Do not do business with them. They are absolute thieves. It's such a shame they are able to do this, usually for just the right amount of money to make you hurt - but not enough to justify the time and money and attorney fees of court cases.
