I would just like to thank rip off report and all the people who wrote about Sundance Vacations.

I to received the infamous you have one phone call, I couldn't even remember when and where I filled this paper out. It was the Meadowlands Fair.

I wasn't offered a $1000.00 internet shopping spree mine was just $500.00 and and a three day 2 night stay at any marriot of my choice.

I was also told that it would only be an hour long presentation with a group. I actually thought it was a timeshare presentation.

Of course I know nothing is free and with gas prices they way they are I would have been really pissed to drive to Hasbrouck Heights just to get a pressured sales pitch.

So thank you for saving my time and my gas.

I would like to add that everything said here is 100% true! I entered to win a new Mustang at the auto show in Milwaukee, WI. A few days later I got the call!!! She told me I won a 2 night 3 day stay for Wisconsin Dells and a $500 online shopping spree! At first I was skeptical and told her no but my curiousity got the best of me and I called back and made an appointment. ALWAYS GO WITH YOUR FIRST MIND! I had to drive to the office in Brookfield, WI. They promised the presentation would be over in an hour. My appointment was for 5:00. It was over in 45 minutes BUT that's when the sales peeople come and get you. I was there until 6:30! I told the sales guy it was too much money. He then called over his manager. Just like they do at used car places! The manager cut the price from $12K down to $3K or either $5K and offered me two "free" weeks to the dream vacation spots I listed on the form they have you fill out. I declined! I thought it was over at this point but the sales guy still tried to get me to see what a DEAL it was! First of all you pay all this money for the vacations but you still have to pay $329 EVERY YEAR! Supposedly this covers the taxes and surcharges for the rooms so when you check out you pay nothing. Just drop the keys and go. Plus you pay $99 everytime you call to book a vacation. If I paid anywhere from $3K - $12K upfront for the wholesale vacations why would I have to pay ANYTHING else on top of that? You can do the legwork yourself online and get a deal! I told him I had to go because my son had basketball. He never blinked an eye and kept right on talking! I was turned off by that. He finally let me go and said I had to see a different guy to "verify" my hotel certificate and get the shopping spree card. Well wouldn't you know this guy is a sales person too! He offered me a deal with less weeks vacation for $899 total but the vacations would be $400 when you book. He also offered to give me four $200 discounts so that would drop the vacations to $200 per booking. Plus the $99 fee! He dropped the total price down to $599 and by the time I left it was down to $299!!! I declined again! It was a waste of time and the shopping spree is a JOKE! You go online and have to register at goshoppingmall.com. There is a shipping fee on EACH item! It's a bunch of junk. I saw NOTHING of interest on the site. Besides that the shipping fee is more than the trinkets are worth! The gift card is worthless because YOU HAVE TO PAY SHIPPING!!! It's a scam!!!!!!
