We are moving to Texas to our first home. In anticipation of this we ordered some recessed lights from Sunrise Lighting AKA Sunrise Lights on Northridge California. The brand they sent us was Elite , which is imported and my electrician, architect, designer and myself all agreed they are not nearly the quality of Halo. I bought some imported recessed from another company and they were as good if not better than other brands, plus I saved money. But what Sunrise sent me was not acceptable to all parties. A Michael Hanna basically told me to f myself and that I am stupid because he said that the Elite Lighting is the same as all other imported brands. Well we all know this is not true. In addition to other lies from sunrise on their web site they make you believe thier recessed is USA made and Halo compatible. This is NOT true people. Hey any company that can lie and say they have 20 years experience yet when you do a quick look up on them and the State of California will verify they have only been open since mid 2004. The worst part about it is that I also bought a substantial amount of outdoor landscape lights. These were to light up my trees, shrubs etc. They also make you believe these lights are top quality USA units from their deceptive web site. Well guess what? NO they are not! Are you surprised? I bought some imported units from another company in California and they are amazing. My advice: sue them, expose them, lets get a class action together. I hope they are exposed soon.
