Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

This so called resort is changing what was originally promised by salesman Paul Klinger 702-308-2292 which was a resort giving RCI points to use for a week at the resort or use at other RCI resorts. At that time I was told we would have the deed and RCI membership in two months. They had all of our money but they took eight months to get us the deed. That was January 2012 - August 2012. Then beginning in April and May 2015 they sent out surveys about giving owners a choice about what they own.

In August they began sending emails and leaving phone messages about owners having three options all of which require more money in addition to the purchase price and yearly maintenance. They are a bunch of scam artists and after reading reviews about this resort I am amazed they are still in business. In 2012 I reported them to the Better Business Bureau in Los Vegas (where their headquarters was, but since closed) and nothing was accomplished except to finally get my deed. I would love to be a part of a law suit to take these crooks down.

#2REBUTTAL Owner of company

Fri, October 16, 2015

I would like to join a class action law suit or any type of legal action to bring this company & the people who are running it as soon as possible! In a phone with the vice president 2weeks ago, she admitted that they cannot honor my contract that I signed in 3/27/2014 that ganteed me a deed to the south horbor. As of ths date10/16/2015 I have not received my DEED!

I told her that I wanted it before i pay anymore money. I just received an invoice for january 15, 2016  maintenance fee $315.00, and notice that sunset harbor is withdrawing  from RCI Points of which ihave paid fees to RCI membership for 35 YEARS. They are starting their own vacation network for a fee of $1095.00 , $159 for a renewal fee with a web site i cannot acces. She told me that they have over 2,000 owners that have agreed to this contract. If i am the only person that know something is crooked then i have been taked for $8,000. I asked her will there be a Homeowners meeting befoe end of2015 so we can all meet and all this be explained to us, answer wa NO.

Ihave been in contact with the ARDA-ROC NON PROFIT AMERICANRESORT DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATIN & ROC RESORT OWNERS' COALITION FOR HELPING OWNERS LIKE US to bring timeshare like SHORE HARBOR TO JUSTICE. I also contacted THE STATE OF TEXAS ATTORNEY'S OFFICE FOR  CONSUMER COMPLAINTS, they are interested in our cause & would like us to keep the informed. any one that lives in the state of TEXAS has the right to get a hearing on cases like this!lets us get organized & notify any of these legal organizations to help  bring them justice!. The people do not want to tell us the truth, all they want is our money with  no questions asked,THIS IS NOT THE WAY WE DON THINGS IN TEXAS!

I would like to join a Law Suit also. I contacted RCI to see if they new anything about Sunset Harbor with drawing from RCI and it took 2 weeks to get an answer back from the onstie RCI person. As far as RCI knows they have information about Sunset Harbor with drawing from there program. As of this week RCI is not taking any deposit's for Sunset Harbor since they had a major Fire at the Resort last week. They are really going to need money now to do repairs or rebuild after the Fire.

Don't know what is left of a resort.
