Super Marios Drywall Colorful tricky language in their quote Albuquerque New Mexico
I needed a water damaged ceiling repaired. They offered me a quote for the repair. The quote listed repair of the damaged area with the size of the entire room (11' x 17') listed. They also quoted replacement of the insulation (if needed) and listed a price.
I met the owner when he came to do the work. he didn't think the whole room ceiling needed replacement. I took his advice.
When the bill arrived the bill was for the entire quote, even though he only replaced less than 1/3 of the ceiling, and insulation.
The owner's wife stood by her price, but did say she had "worded the quote poorly". When pressed about the price, she sent an e-mail saying about the hardships to her children and family as they were just a family business, blah blah blah, but if I really thought it was a problem, they would lower the price by $100.00. I paid the full price and told them I would mention this to on line reporting agencies. They challenged me to go ahead as they are a "perfect business and have never had a complaint". She went on to say how perfect the work was.
Well, I can put frosting on a card board box and tell you it is a cake too, but until you cut it you'll never know. So only time will tell is the quality of the work was any good. I will say this, buyer beware, as the wife doesn't know how to write up a quote, and the husband doesn't have the testicular fortitude to make any changes. She here is the first complaint.
