Seller Joseph and Jose Muniz of Superior Auto Sales 14900 US Highway 301,  Dade City, FL 33523 have falsely advertised  in Interstate Commerce via the internet, eBay auction and long distance telephone a Rolls Royce collector car vin SRH13039. After a professional inspection by a hired service paid for by the potential Buyer ( 9 pages and 179 photos) revealed the true condition of what appears to be a parts car, Seller filed a nonpayment claim with eBay in an attempt to extract the funds from the Buyer regardless of the failure to produce the car advertised. There remains a question of the validity of the title and Bill of Sale that was prepared by the Seller. As of 1-20-2013 Seller has spent $469 for the inspection, $200 deposit on transport fees a well as many paid staff hours.

This 1972 Silver Shadow was represented as rebuilt, nice shape body, real nice seats, rides and drives good, classy car, real nice peace (sic).  Later, added on 10-13-2013 motor was rebuilt. Upon professional hired inspection it was discovered in fact none of the above is true. No portion of that car appears rebuilt, as the body is well beyond practical restoration, the seats are dried and cracked with tears throughout, and the engine is weak, smoking, steaming and in need of an overhaul (if it can be saved).  The title was in anothers name in Virginia.

These are some notes from the inspector on the 9 page report with 179 photos concluded on 1-18-13 at 7:25 a.m. Eastern time:

The left front door cannot be opened. Only two of the power windows work. None of the door locks work. When car first started up there was a valve tappet noise. On a 10 mile test drive, the vehicles maximum speed was 60 mph and only downhill. The transmission operated as designed but the engine is definitely down on power. The entire vehicle vibrates. There is a loud roaring from the right front. The car drives reasonably straight but pulls to the right when stopping. This is a 4 wheel disc brakes car and it should not pull when the brakes are applied. By the time the vehicle returned to the dealership there was smoke and or steam coming from underneath the front fenders and out of the grill. There are several suspension noises while driving. Spare wheel cover noted under the car but did not see spare tire.

Blisters in paint beneath windshield. Antenna is missing. Seat covers and headrests are poorly fitted.

Mr. Muniz was present during the inspection and test drive and is aware of these findings. Beside the questionable title issues on this item, the full inspection report with photos reveal this item to be a parts car at best and certainly not the rebuilt beauty advertised. Mr. Muniz has declined my communications repeatedly.
