Superior Powersports Motor blew hole in it after less than 3 hours riding time... city of Industry California

I purchased a Kandi 110cc go cart from Superior Powersports on Feb 14,2014. Because of high shipping area, it was not shipped out until the 25th of Feb and did not receive it til March 3, 2014.
We had it approximately 2 weeks with less than 3 hours riding time on it. It was driven in my grandmothers flat surface yard. Within 30 min of riding this Kandi 110cc go cart, the exhaust blew off causing a hole in motor and exhaust pipe fell onto battery box melting it.
I have numerous times contacted SuperiorPowerSports about this. I never get a return call when promised and I'm left on hold 15-20 min before someone "decides" to answer my call. I have been told today that if the motor is fixable it will be fixed. May I remind you, I bought this go cart with "supposedly" new motor.
I requested a new motor and new battery, because the exhaust melted the whole battery.
They told me to get a refund they would deduct the shipping of $239.95 and that I would only receive 15% of the total fo cart cost, unless its defective.Well of course its defective, yu don't ride it for less than 3 hours and it blows a hole where the exhaust hooks to engine.I'm furious...I will never use them again and don't reccomend them to anyone.
