supportman.com Froze search engine and computer to extort money to repair computer Montreal Quebec Canada Internet
While on Facebook, I clicked on a link and when I did I got this big red screen with a horn blowing that I could not exit out of. I couldn't close the tab, click another tab...nothing! All the while this stupid horn was blowing. The screen said it was Norton Symantec and had a number to call to help you fix the problem. So this a total scam! The company (supportman.com) puts the problem on your computer and then they want money to fix it. The phone number is 1-855-338-2066.
Don't call them and don't pay them! Just press "Ctrl", "Alt" and "Delete" at the same time, go to Task Manager and under "Applications" close the window and then clear your history.
