Cara- They illegally towed you twice. They made you go without your car for days. They made you repeatedly drive to Chandler to their office. They demeaned you and made fun of you. They made you call the police the second time before releasing your car to you. You now suddenly think they are nice guys because they said they will leave the Domino's delivery cars alone? Are you smoking meth with their drivers now?

So, I got my car towed AGAIN, from the lot where I was working AGAIN, and I had my car marked with Dominos AGAIN, and my purse and all i.d. were in my car AGAIN. BUT this time I had my title so I went to the towing yard with my title and my forms of i.d. which, since my drivers license was in the car were limited to my birth cert. and my s.s.card. I had spoken to the Tempe PD and they said all that was required was the title, so I felt confident going in and asking for them to release the car to me. I got there and said here's my title, I'd like my car please. And the guy explained that I would have to sign a contract agreeing to pay within 24hrs and if not they'd take me to court and yadda yadda, I'm like yea ok that's cool, my wallet is in my car and I can't pay you otherwise and I know that you won't allow me to retrieve it from my car, so..yea. And he's like ok, I have to fill out the paperwork, it'll take about 20mins. I'm like that's fine so I start waiting, he comes over a few seconds later and asks for my license. I told him no, it's in my car. So he told me that there was nothing he could do then. At this point, the bald mexican guy came over, (the one that I dealt with last time) and started obnoxiously saying, "OMG IT'S DOMINOS GIRL IT'S DOMINOS GIRL HAHAHAHA." (My name is Cara, if I knew you're name, I'd definitely use it) As he was saying this, another employee said, "They towed your car again?!" I said, "YEAH....." He sighed and so I walked away and got the Tempe PD on the phone to let them know that they were refusing to release my car even though I had the title. Dispatch told me an officer would be out to me soon. While waiting in my bf's car the guy walked over and was said "Umm we talked to our boss, you can come in and get your car, we're not going to charge you for this.." Yay! As I was walking past the rest of the employees they were all mumbling, "Oh yea, maybe you can go on that website and write something good about us now, and how NICE we're being."I responded with, "Sorry I can't remove anything that was already written." So the guy who said I could get my car walked me over to the car and apologized and said that it was ridiculous that this happened again and that they all know that I work there and that they all see me parked there every night. I agreed and said yea I know, and I know that you're one of the most decent guys working here, you're the only one I see who actually looks into our cars with a flashlight at night to check for our dominos markers. He told me to have a good evening and apologized again and I started to drive away. He walked over to my passenger side while I was leaving and I rolled my window down and he said, 'Well if you are going to go and write on that site....' And I said, "What's your name? " And he said, "Clint " So, Clint you're awesome and probably the nicest/coolest employee working there. You're also the most responsible because you actually make sure that the cars you are towing AREN'T the cars of Dominos employees, and you go as far as to shine a flashlight to check inside. Clint is my hero!! Haha Anyway, just goes to show that the squeaky wheel always gets the grease, and this report WAS effective. My work let me know less than a week after filing this that they had read it and they were mad, Vista del Sol was mad and SWAT was mad and they asked that I take it down, which I unfortunately had to tell them wasn't possible. That being said, I think it's safe to say that Dominos will most assuredly have no more problems with SWAT towing in the future after tonight's incident. I say this because, after I got my car back I returned to Dominos to tell them what happened and they said a tow guy (presumably Clint) had come in and crafted a handy rearview window hang from a pizza box and told us to hang them in all our cars and they'd never bother us again. Soooooo that's my update, this site gets the job done.
