I have heard so many of these awful stories and I realize that they do sound like a joke mostly because they are such ridiculous tow situations. But it is true that this company is running a giant scam. And they are feeding on people like you and me. People that don't have the money to sit around and wait to get their cars out because they need them for work. So they pay. People that don't have money for a lawyer or don't think the police will be on their side. So the pay. And I am sick of paying and ready for some action.

Papa John's will tow anyone who is parked in the "no parking zone". We do reserve a set amount of space in the parking lot for drivers, due to their constant in/out mode. It sounds like that is where you were parked, and if so the manager had all right to see to it that you were towed. Also, Papa John's parking signs are placed into the actual parking lot like the handicapped signs in each parking spot we use.
And if you treated that manager any way like you speak of him, well, you said it yourself, what goes around comes around.
I guess it came around to you.

if i was just hanging outside waiting for my pizza, i think i would notice and hear a tow truck removing my vehicle. so what's the real story? did you order a small cheese pizza and figured it would be cheaper and closer than paying for parking elsewhere while you were clearly watching this event? the pizza isn't that great at that location to drive from mesa and fight your way through roadblocks to get it, is it? you would think the officer nearby would have helped your cause too? nice try on the parking scam sally!
