Sweepstakes Clearinghouse Scam, hoax, Appears to be "Publishers Cearing House" Dallas Texas
I was sent a time sensitive envelope telling me that I have a "package" to be delivered USPS as soon as i sent this "company" $19.98. They even gave the option of letting me make payments, stating the package would be delivered when paid in full.
Included in the "package" was to be a "Omni-2 digital camera(includes LCD status screen,150 photo storage,pc connections,& software package, also a webcam.)"
There is even an authorization number on the letter. But the company gave no phone number or email address.
Hopefully nobody will fall for this scam. I didn't.
