You worked for Swift back in '04??? Or do you mean from Feb 4th thru April 4th of this year? Because if we're talking five years ago, where the heck have you been? I tried to read the entire post, but lost track about halfway through. It sounds to me, at least in part, that you didn't fully utilize your driver tools, such as an atlas and all the valuable information it has in the front of it, especially when it comes to routing. Ultimately, you are the one responsible. Even the newest GPS units make mistakes, and it is the driver that has to make sure he or she is proceeding on a legal route. Old trailers? Yes, they do sometimes slip through the cracks. We have them at the company I drive for. But newer ones sometimes have problems, too. That is why you do a complete Pre-trip inspection. In conclusion, I don't think you were fully comprehending instructions. I base that on the way you write. That aside, you can contact DAC services and dispute any entry on your DAC report. Do some homework for your own comfort and safety. And, by the way....WHAT is a "bibamist"???
