I went to the swift driving school in millington in 05. Now after almost 4 yrs I received a letter saying I have to retest everything again which I'm not going to do. It is not fair that I have to do this. Swift took money out of my check when I worked for them to pay the tuition during the time I worked for them. I think they should refund everybody their money back

A non-white anglo saxon??? Joe....get a dictionary, please. Or at least turn off the caplocks and google anglo saxon. Your rants on here are making you look somewhat foolish. As for your advice, hmmm. When these students signed up for these schools they sign a contract for training. Not for employment or a guarantee of obtaining or retaining a CDL. These people who have had a CDL for years and have to retest should go test and get it over with. It doesn't cost that much. Here in the Kansas City area one can rent a truck at the CDL test sight for around $300 dollars. Sometimes you have to take your lumps and move on with a lesson learned. In no way am I condoning Swift's training practices, but they will continue to pump out warm bodies for their trucks. They did not get to be a multi-billion dollar company by mistake. Mr. Moyes knows what he is doing. As I have mentioned before in other reports, I voiced my concerns of third party testing to the highest level of management at Swift. Of course it was of no concern to them for obvious reasons. Now I can say to the management at Millington and former manager of KC.....I told you so! And they tried to tell me that their third party testing was as strict or stricter than state testing...LOL!! Anyhow, you ripped off students just go test and get on with it. A law suit will be fruitless. And if you do get a lawyer to look at your case, he or she will tell you the same after reading the contract you signed. Good luck to all of you and keep on trucking.....just not for Swift.

I HAVE POSTED ADVICE ON HOW PEOPLE WHO ARE RIPPED OFF BY TRUCKING COMPANIES WORTHLESS TRAINING CLASSES AND ARE NOW RUINED WITH A HUGE STUDENT LOAN DEBT CAN GET IT CANCELLED. I HAVE POSTED IT IN RESPONSE TO VARIOUS RIP OFF REPORT COMPLAINTS CONCERNING THESE FAKE DRIVING SCHOOLS WHERE THEY ALLEGEDLY TEACH YOU TO DRIVE AND THEN YOU HAVE NO JOB. IT SEEMS TO HAPPEN TO WOMEN MORE THAN MEN AND NON-WHITE ANGLO SAXON MALES MORE THAN TO WHITE MALES. IT JUST SSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEEEEMMMMMMMMMSSSSSSSSS THAT WAY. YOU ALSO NEED TO COMPLAIN TO THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION AND TO THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION AND WHOEVER LICENSES THESE FAKE SCHOOLS. THEY MIGHT CLAIM TO BE IN HOUSE PROVIDING TRAINING FOR EMPLOYEES BUT IF YOU NEVER FILLED OUT A W-2 OR RECEIVED AN EMPLOYEE HANDBOOK, THEN YOU WERE NOT AN EMPLOYEE AND YOU WERE JUST A STUDENT IN THEIR SCHOOL. A STUDENT WHO INCURRED A LARGE STUDENT LOAN DEBT BY DECEPTION WHICH IS FRAUD IN MY WAY OF THINKING BUT YOU HAD BETTER CHECK WITH A LAYWER WHO KNOWS ABOUT STUDENT LOANS TO BE SURE.
