The website they show you when you register is different than the one they show the media. Theymade me believe it is an auction site and when registering they took info and poped another screen asking for CC for verification and for onfile for auction. Never ever warned about membership fee, and none of the FAQs mention either. After putting my CC information, the screen popped up saying they charged my CC for $150.
I did not understand why and went to chat with their csuotomer service to keep a record of my conversation. She only keeping pasting couple of line from their terms and conditions saying it is mentioned on their site.
At that point I request them to cancel my name from their list and demaned a refund. Her words were " We have an air tight legal contract and you CANNOT get a refirnd even if you report to the credit card company". That's all she keep pasting no matter what I asked on chat. Hence, I could not get any where with them, I called Bank America (since my credit card is from them). Bank America said they did not get the charge yet on the card so they cannot do anything at that point. I asked them to put my complaint in the record and dispute the amount. After two days when the charge showed up called Bank America again and they refused to take that charge off saying I agreed to the terms of this company.
BANK AMERICA is another ripoff company and do not bank with them. I cancelled all my accounts with them now and moved money to other banks. DO NOT EVEN GO TO SWIPEBIDS site.
They are a total fraud and I hope the authorities and media look into them as they conning everyone. I am very furious that they can get away hiding behind legal agreement knowing that what they have to offer is nothing but a ripoff of your money.
They also tell you that if you are not satisfied they will refund your money but that is the last time you will see your $150 dollars because once you sign in to their website they tell you that the only way to win is if you buy a lot of bids blocks. They sell their bids blocks or cards very low sometimes for a $1 or $2 once you buy just one of their bids blocks your satisfaction guarantee is gone because according to their rules you just won something even if it one of their own trick and you are no longer qualify for a refund.
