SWS Electronics SWS Computers Crappy customer service and a manager who doesn't know how to talk to people Tucson Arizona
I went in and ordered a custom built computer in September, 2016. I left a sizeable deposit, $500, towards my total cost of $1100.
I needed to pull out an old hard drive to take in to SWS so they could install it in my new custom built computer.
It took me longer than I had planned to get this hard drive to take in, and they did call me to follow up. I received 3 calls, and returned those calls two times. My work had gotten hectic, and I ended up traveling for work more than I had known i would be at the time I purchased the computer.
I went in this past Saturday, approx 4 months later, to drop off the hard drive. SWS claims I have never called them back, and even though they graciously agreed to refund my deposit of $500--they now claim our business relationship is over. On Saturday, the guy at the counter kept telling me I had exceeded my 30 days of a window I have to apparently conclude any transaction. I pulled my receipt, and of course, there is NOTHING that says I have 30 days.
Overall, a very shady local business. I try hard to do business with locally owned companies, but in this case, I would recommend using a national company over SWS. They definitely are on the shady end of the spectrum.
