Symantec Rebate Scam - Filing with all original documents Cupertino California
I purchased and filed for a rebate on Norton Internet Security 2006. All I received back was a card stating I did not send in all the required documents and to resubmit them if I wanted a rebate. Problem arises when the 'honest' consumer is defrauded by Symantec (or their representative) and the consumer no longer has the originals to send as they WERE submitted.
Needless to say I received no rebate, tired of contacting a company that perceives it's customers as 'thieves', and finally gave up. They are also committed to ripping off consumers with their 'Live-update' system that will not update unless you renew your subscription early. Please see this Rip-off Report Scam posting as well.
