Sorry to hear Norton let you down, but it doesn't surprise me. I gave up buying their product a few years ago when it kept missing things and after 12 years on the net I lost my 'internet virginity' to a trojan. I dumped Norton, downloaded AVG and it found the trojan and deleted it for me. From what I hear Norton still only does updates you can download once a week. AVG updates daily and will do it automatically, if you set it to. That way you KNOW you are totally protected. The best part .. AVG is free! A combo of AdAware, AVG and Zone Alarm will keep your computer free of the 'badies' out there and you won't go broke in the process, since all 3 programs are free downloads off the web. Like your wife, I'm a gamer, so I really understand the need to have solid protection when you get into any online games. Tell her I say 'Happy Gaming!'.
