Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
My wife and I were seeking government grants to start a small business. We contacted synergy pro consulting, which at first seemed friendly and knowledgeable. They explained their program and how we would receive a personal coach to write a business plan and apply for government grants. By this time we had spoken with Carren, the initial screener for the program. She was complementing us and was very interested in our goals and kept praising us for what we would like to get accomplished.

But, at the same time, she made it seem as though she would be doing us a favor to move us on to the next step in the process of applying to be helped to get free grants. She transferred us to an adviser named Marc Dickerson, which explained to us that for our situation, there would be a $6,350 "investment" fee to be entered into the program and receive a personal coach. Obviously, we questioned the "investment", as he called it, and what it would include and cover.

He seemed aggravated and avoided our question by asking us our commitment level. We told him we would like to give this some thought before jumping into it and we would call him the next day. So, he called back the next day, and we had made the decision, seeing that this was a little shady, before even checking out this website with everyone else's story, to not get involved into something that had no guarantee or money back if failing. He persisted to question our commitment level and asked if we would look at the "investment", as he called it, as a business expense and put it on our credit cards.

We told him we were not interested at this time and he tried to use reverse psychology, saying, that if we had doubt, they would probably not even consider approving us into the program. Recognizing this, I called him out on it and he denied and began insulting my motivation to start the business, so I told him that we were not interested and he kept talking over me, very rudely, so I hung up. We are young, so we are glad that we did not fall for this scam as many other unfortunate people have. From now on, we will check this site before even speaking with a company in question, and highly suggest you do as well. Thank you Ripoff Report.com
