Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
We went to a kiosk in the mall for T-mobile Cellular. We explained what we wanted. We needed a "family plan" for 3 phones that would allow 5000 minutes to be shared by the 3 phones. We were told that's what we were getting at a cost of $129.00 per month for all 3 phones.

About two months later, I noticed over $400 coming out of my bank. We called T-mobile to find out what was going on. Turns out, the representative signed us up on three individual plans at $129.00 EACH!!

Now, we are stuck with a phone plan that does not work, we run out of minutes and T-mobile wants to charge us an additional .20 per minute over our (now 3,000 minute) rate plan; as we found out two late that T-mobile doesn't even offer a 5000 minute rate plan like what we were told.

Now, I am good at reading contracts, but this contract was vague as to terms and price each month. We couldn't figure it out as it wasn't on the agreement!

T-mobile's solution to us now that they have been confronted with their fraudulent acts, is to change our plan a third time AND get MORE MONEY from us each month. We are left with 1 week in our billing cycle and are out of minutes. If I want to conduct my business for this week, (as I do so over the phone,) I need to pay .20 cents per minute for each and every minute.

I currently have over a $140.00 credit balance on my account, but according to the company, that cannot be used to pay my 20 cents per minute of overages. They cannot backdate my plan to accomodate my overages, even if I wanted them to; "it is impossible."

Company officials have said I must change my rate plan at a cost of nearly $200.00 per month, when we thought we were getting that for the $129.00 per month. Even if I do that, it will not take effect until next month and I must at this time pay .20 cents per minute.

I have a good question. why is it that when someone has a problem with tmobile no one from customer service has any authority to do anything that would help a customer? ive noticed thru my own problems with tmobile that if tmobile doesnt make money from it they wont/refuse to help. do me a favor take a look at my complaint report #357104. im curious to see what you guys (or any tmobile person)have to say about this......

This is an easy question/problem. You either signed 3 contracts at the time you visited the kiosk meaning the company is at no fault. OR, you signed one contract for a family plan with 3 lines and misread the contract. For 129.99 you would receive 3000 minutes, add 10 for the additional 3rd line and your bill would be 139.99 monthly plus overage and taxes. If you signed 3 contracts then you simply were not paying attention. So, with that being said, if the company does not have 3 contracts, 1 for each line and each mobile number then they cannot legally hold you to any charges or fees. However if you did indeed sign 3 contracts then you should have paid more attention. If you signed a contract for a family plan and the rep wrote in 5000 minutes for 129.99 for 3 lines then that store, is responsible to honor that plan for the term selected. All in all you need your contract/contracts and review what you signed =)
