We did not become a victim of Voicestream until they took over GTE. We joined GTE in 1997 and in just a few months they changed to Voicestream. The very first billing from Voicestream was for a fraudulent amount of $460.72. My wife never used a fraction of her allowed minutes and the bills from GTE were always less than $50.

All of a sudden, out of the blue, the first bill from Voicestream was $460.72! It was absolutely impossible we owed this money. It was clearly fraud. At that point we immediately stopped our service with them and never used their phone again. We went back and forth with them. Finally I just sent them our final payment equal to the previous GTE bill we had.

Now, 7 years later, they have Superior Asset Management calling us trying to get this money by using threats and very crude behavior on the phone. I sent a signed statement about my position on this matter to both Superior Asset Management and T-Mobile by certified mail and return receipt. Superior Asset Management signed the return receipt and has my letter but I have not yet received the return receipt from T-Mobile Customer Relations. They must have refused to accept it. WE never even signed with this company and was not given the choice to end our service when GTE changed to Voicestream. There needs to be a class action lawsuit against this company and they need to pay for the anguish and wasted time they have caused with their fradulent behavior.
