I TOOK OUT A ONE(1) YEAR CONTRACT WITH T- MOBILE CELL PHONE COMPANY IN JULY 2004.MY DAUGHTER LOST HER CELL PHONE IN DEC 2004, SHE CALLED TO ORDER A REPLACEMENT PHONE FOR $20.00 TO CONTINUE TO USE THE SERVICE WE HAVE UNDER OUR ORIGINAL CONTRACT THAT IS UP IN JULY 2005.PLEASE NOTE WE HAVE JUST THE ONE PHONE.THE REPLACEMENT PHONE CAME AND EVERY THING WAS FINE UNTIL.

OUR FAMILY WENT ON VACATION TO FLORIDA THIS MAY 2005, TOOK THE CELL PHONE (REPLACEMENT PHONE).WE ENDED UP LOSING THE PHONE ON DELTONA BEACH ON A SUNDAY, MAY 29TH,2005.WENT TO DISNEY ALL DAY MONDAY MAY 30TH, 2005.CAME HOME ON A EARLY MORNING FLIGHT TUESDAY MAY 31ST, CALLED IN TO T-MOBILE ABOUT THE LOST PHONE,AND FOUND OUT SOMEONE USED THE PHONE , WHOEVER FOUND IT ON THE BEACH,THEY CALLED A FOREIGN COUNTRY MADONSIA?FOR 153 MINUTES.T-MOBILE ONLY WILL TAKE ABOUT $50.00 OFF THIS $211.00 PHONE CALL.I WAS A VERY UPSET CUSTOMER. I WANTED TO PUT A NOTICE IN THAT I WOULD LIKE TO END MY CONTRACT -WHEN THE FULL TERM IS UP.SO I ASKED THE EXACT DATE AND WAS TOLD DEC 12TH,2005.THIS IS MY REAL PROBLEM.

MY CONTRACT SHOULD END IN JULY 2005. I WAS TOLD WHEN MY DAUGHTER LOST THE PHONE THE FIRST TIME IN DEC 2004, AND CALLED FOR A REPLACEMENT PHONE, THEY GAVE HER ANOTHER CONTRACT ON TOP OF A CONTRACT.PLEASE NOTE THERE WASN'T NO DIFFERENT PHONE NUMBER GIVEN OUT FOR THE REPLACEMENT PHONE.THE MANAGER SAID, THIS WAS ABLE TO BE DONE BECAUSE SHE HAD MY SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER.I GAVE THAT TO HER BECAUSE I WAS AWAY ON A BUSINESS TRIP, AND SHE NEEDED TO REPLACE THE PHONE , NOT GET ANOTHER CONTRACT.

PLEASE NOTE I KNEW NOTHING OF THIS UNTIL NOW WHEN I CALLED ABOUT THE PHONE , AND NO CONTRACT (NEW ONE ) WAS EVER MAILED OR KNOWN TO ME.MY DAUGHTER WAS ONLY 14 YEARS OLD AT THE TIME , I DIDN'T AUTHORIZE A NEW CONTRACT.SHE DIDN'T POSE AS ME . THEY EVEN TOLD ME HER NAME WHEN I CALLED. HOW CAN THEY GET AWAY WITH THIS, SHES ONLY A MINER.????THE CONTRACT IS UNDER MY NAME NOT HERS . THIS IS WRONG!!THE MANAGER SAID SHE MUST HAVE MISLEAD THE REPRESENTATIVE, ITS MORE LIKE THEY MISLEAD A KID, WHO JUST NEEDED A PHONE THAT I PAYED FOR ANYWAY ON MY NEW BILL.

I'm not sure who's more irresponsible, the mother or the daughter. Just how many phones do you plan on giving her? If you took the new phone for $20, you should have known it starts a new contract. Why do you think they "give" you a $200 phone for $20? You "gave" your daughter your SSN to act as your representative, same as a PIN number, now your claiming she didn't have authority to do so. Sorry, you can't have it both ways. You'd be on here claiming they wouldn't give your poor little princess a telephone, even after you gave her your SSN. I think it's the phone bill you're more upset about. Also, I thought there was something about using ALL CAPITAL LETTERS ALICE.
