i went to taco bell on 04/17/10 and 04/18/10 to get four five beefy layer burrito and according to their website and the tv advertisement the beefy 5 layer burrito should been $.89 each one taco bell didn't charge me the $.89 they charged me $1.19 each and the other one charged me $.99 the advertisement is false  and the advertistement on the website is false and the taco bell on lancaster drive in salem the address is 565 theres a man works there behind the counter to take your order has long hair needs to have it cut on his next day off  and both of the taco bells are dirty and everything paper towels all over the mens restroom. don't believe taco bells advertistment unless you like paying for then what they are saying in their advertistement on tv and on the website.

I have seen the commercial and it does state "Not valid at all locations".

To the OP some Taco Bells are owned by the corporation and some are franchises which are owned privately. Franchise locations typically do not have to participate in the promos or even honor printed coupons. That is most likely the case here.

However if they are unsanitary you should report them to your local health department.

By participation only...

I haven't seen this particular commercial because I watch very little television but when a chain restaurant advertises a promotional price, they include some sort of fine print on the bottom of the screen that says "participating locations only" or some similar language. That gives franchise owners the ability to opt out if they need to.

Did this commercial say anything like that?
