As a Breeder I won't even fly a puppy with any dgree of lux, even 1st degree without Buyer approval. The vet chould post on the health certificate about the lux or the breeder needs to report it to the buyer. So either the Vet failed or the breeder failed because a lux of 3rd degree is noticeable. Unles the lux came later in the first year. Then that might not be genetic at all. I didnt read the whole report on the situation as so much garbage talk. As a breeder myself if one of my buyers come on here then I wouldn't give them a dime as it is costy the damage they do here. Let that be their reward. Don't give them money too,

THIS IS A DUPLICATE REPORT WRITTEN BY THE POSTER MS. WOLFE, WHICH WAS A SCAM.
Ms. Wolfe was a fraud. I the breeder took Ms. Wolfe to Court and WON THE CASE.
MS. WOLFE WAS INSTRUCTED BY THE COURT TO PAY FOR THE PUPPY, THAT SHE HAS DISHONESTLY RECEIVED A REFUND ON...... WHICH SHE HAS YET TO DO. She still has the puppy and the funds.
YOU MAY SEE ALL DETAILS ON DUPLICATE REPORT, DATED THE SAME~

Please notice that NOWHERE on any forum or post that exists has this breeder EVER stated that she offered me a full, immediate refund for our puppy. If you can get beyond all of her wildly SCREAMING accusations, you will find that I am telling the truth.
As for happy buyers, read again the comment from "Laura" in Roanoke and the follow-up responses.
For more recent updates, you may also want to check out posts under (((Redacted)))
I would also suggest that the above respondent be careful about the comments she posts. EVERY SINGLE THING I have ever written can be backed up by hard evidence. To publicly accuse someone of extortion in the manner in which she has--with ZERO proof--is a serious, legal charge and addressable in court. I invite her to ask Ms. Reed to provide ANY support for such defamation. If she continues to post such outlandish libel, I will have no choice but to assume that she is willing to be a supporting witness for Ms. Reed in a court situation if subpoenaed.
Lastly, if we want to talk about time spent on these posts that is taking away from the care of our pets, whose puppies/dogs are more likely being neglected? Me, who has only two puppies and is a stay-at-home mom with children in school full-time, or this breeder, who has many dogs/puppies/a child younger than mine, AND works outside the home?

In feb of this year, I adopted a perfect Yorkie from Tanoe. I went through a rigorous "vetting" to ensure that I would provide an excellent home for my Puppy. My whole experience with her was flawless, the health and appearance of my Dog, exactly as promised AND certified by the Health Certificate that Tanoe provided. During our communication, we obviously discussed the possibility of any potential health issues. Tanoe would have had no problem taking back my Puppy if any problems had arisen, in fact she insisted on it, should this event occur. I can assure anyone reading Mz. Wolfe's outrageous statements, that Tanoe appears to be the victim here, certainly NOT Mz Wolfe, who is posting here, all over the internet, for that matter..........nowhere does this lady express concern for the pain or suffering this poor Maltese is experiencing, nowhere does she describe the care this helpless creature is receiving. As for demanding payment in advance for not only the purchase price, but expenses far over and above that........is she for real????? Threatening Tanoe to post defaming comments if she does not pay up???? Smells really nasty to me....can anyone spell *E*X*T*O*R*T*I*O*N*???? This Breeder's reputation amongst Yorkie and Maltese owners and Breeders alike, is above reproach....you should see those Breeders jump to her defense on the forums that Mz. Wolfe has posted her slanderous comments. I do think that when she first approached Tanoe, she just might possibly have been a "Wolfe" in sheeps clothing........

"POSS PLOY ALERT FROM THIS BUYER" Please explain. What is my ploy? "I am Tanoe and this buyer IS AT THIS POINT showing to have some very serious problems." What serious problems? That I wish to return my puppy with grade 3 luxating patella that the breeder sold without vet check for a full refund? "I have many VERY HAPPY BUYERS COMING TO MY DEFENSE." Is "Laura from Roanoke" one of the many happy buyers coming to her defense? "This buyer has refused to do an xray on the puppy." I have always stated that I would be happy to do an x-ray as long as the breeder were willing to pay for it, since she was the one taking issue with my vet's diagnosis without providing documentation that our puppy checked out clear before leaving her care. "SHe has NOT GIVEN ME ANY WRITTEN PROOF OF THESE STATEMENTS." The breeder never once asked me for written proof, as odd as that may sound. The closest she came to asking for my proof was on 3/29 when she said: ...if you are uncomfortable forwarding you Vets reports that is fine... I have never been uncomfortable sending the report. Puppyfind, the BBB, my credit card companies, and my vet all have the "Unfit for Sale" letter. I am going to e-mail it to her right now, even though it is next to impossible that she still has not seen it. If she wanted to see it, why did she wait to ask me for it until 3/29--4 weeks after the diagnosis? On the other hand, when I have asked he for her vet records, this was her response: ...With you returning the puppy I would be under know obligation to send you my Vet reports, I have these for my own records for future placement into a new home. This has nothing to do with YOU WHEN RETURNING THE PUPPY FOR RESALE.... My guess is that she put off talking about vet papers as long as possible because she had none of her own to provide reciprocally. If her records do exist, why have I still, 7 weeks later now, still not seen them? "She started this process wanting $500, then to go up quickly to $1700, then to go to a full refund plus addional exspenses. PRIOR TO MEETING ME WITH THE PUPPY! All SELLERS BEWARE!!!!!!!" I did not "want" $500. That is all she offered for the surgery to fix our puppy. $1700 was the full estimate for surgery and supplements that I provided to the breeder. The additional expenses-$48-were for Albon and metronidazole to treat the coccidia and giardia for the sick puppy she released to me. Since the breeder apparently did not take proper care of our puppy in her home and released a sick puppy to us, she infected our other HEALTHY puppy, so I had to treat BOTH of them for these two diseases. In closing, as of today, 4/17, despite her posts to the contrary, she still has not offered to take back the puppy asap for a full, immediate refund.

The public needs to read Tanoe Reed's comments and how she spells no, which she spells no as know. Laura from Roanoke has spelled no the same way as Tanoe Reed. The writing is almost exactly same. Why does the breeder not return the buyer's money? Easy way to fix this nightmare and repair her creditability. Why would a breeder want their reputation smeared all over the place? Unless the breeder is wrong. Reputable breeder would be concerned with their puppy's welfare.

Dear Readers, The above post "Stop the complaining" should TRULY RAISE RED FLAGS. I am in the process of contacting the Ripoff Report to ask them to investigate "Laura from Roanoke." I have information that I will share with them (and will be happy to share with you) that leads me to believe that "Laura" is none other than Tanoe herself. If this is the case, I think everyone needs to be wary of all past and future "satisfied buyer" rebuttals posted in Tanoe's defense.

I have know idea what this buyer is trying to do? She is going on and on and on and on. I am a buyer of one of Tanoe's puppies and my transaction was excellent! Tanoe is one of the nicest people I have ever known and her dogs are beautiful and quite healthy. Beyond what any buyer would expect. I have spoken to other buyers as of recent and keep in touch with Tanoe. I feel this is a shame. All are seeing right through this with the lengthly complaining? Myself and others are very upset that keep in touch with Tanoe on a regular basis. Plan on sticking with Tanoe for anything she may need and are in the process of helping her with this matter. If you look at Tanoe's reviews on puppyfind they are excellent and this buyer has all these problems. Is the problem with the puppy or with the BUYER?? I don't know of any breeder that covers these things this buyer is complaining about. Yet Tanoe has offered her another puppy, NOT EVEN APPLYING but offered refund, buyer making excuses of not wanting another puppy. Wanting all these fee's . Did buyer read her contract? Is she even familar with Toy Breeds? I have owned 3 and have much info on patella's and without an xray this is not acceptable. Thank goodness did not adopt a child. Sounds strange to want any money back before meeting with Tanoe. All these fee's that this buyer is actually EXPECTING TANOE TO PAY? This is highly unusual and readers will see when reading. I am with the other buyer that replied, where is the puppy during all this? Was this puppy injured in buyers home? How did it happen that buyer ran over last Pet. Then to make such complaints of your new puppy? Such a shame. Also this buyer has posted everything TWICE UNDER DIFFERENT ADDRESSES and then posted that it was by accident??? Many of the statements by this buyer is very conflicting and something very wrong. I am with the other buyer and Tanoe the readers will can clearly see WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS SITUATION! Tanoe will continue to have the support of her buyers!

Dear Jean, Since my full name is on this website, and you have taken full liberty to criticize my report, perhaps you would be upfront enough to leave your full name. Otherwise, how does anyone know you are a genuine buyer of one of Tanoe's previous puppies? Furthermore, you do not need to spend any time researching my vet in PA, because I will gladly give you her name and phone number if you contact me personally. Tanoe has her phone number as well, and I have invited Tanoe to call my vet. You are also welcome to contact her. Ask Tanoe if she will allow you to contact her vet for the same information. She has specifically told both me and her vet that absolutely no information about her is allowed to be released without her permission. And, guess what? She won't give the vet office permission for me to see her records. We can guess why she is denying me access to her records, if you have read my initial post. Please realize that by making these unsubstantiated accusations, you are also in danger of defamation since I have yet to see ANY PROOF of the negative comments you are accusing me of. As my updates have shown, Tanoe cannot substantiate any of her accusations against me. I will stand by every statement I have written, because, as you yourself noticed, it has taken me a very long time to document it all. I wrote these posts STRICTLY AS AN ALERT FOR FUTURE BUYERS WHO MAY CONSIDER PURCHASING TANOE REED'S PUPPIES. Additionally, I had serious concerns that Tanoe, if she ever took my puppy back, would try to sell the puppy without disclosing the puppy's knee condition to the new buyer. I COULD NOT IN GOOD FAITH ALLOW THAT TO HAPPEN, GIVEN ALL OUR FAMILY HAS BEEN THROUGH. Again, the next time you post, please lend some credibility to your post by stating your full name.

I am someone who is more concerned over the care the puppy is receiving than over this poster who has splashed herself all over the web. I saw all this mess on the web and called Tanoe. I am totally confused. Why is she doing this, and what does she really want? I know there is a contract, and why did you sign it then if you did not agree with it. Sellers do not ever go the extra mile that Tanoe has gone to. You are trying to get big bucks from Tanoe IN ADVANCE of returning puppy, and threatening to plaster all over the web. In some states all this drama all over the web would be called extortion. But, what about that little puppy, and when are you caring for it. This is a live little animal, and I am sure the seller is terrified of what may have been done to the pup after it went to the buyer's home. Lady, that is a no no. wanting money in advance and leaving that part out of your report. Nobody in this day and time is going to send you anything ahead of time. I know what I would do..absolutely nothing except get an attorney if I was Tanoe. But, I am not, and seems she has bent over backwards and gone the extra mile. Beware breeders and buyers over Wolfe poster. My little dog is fine, and I will purchase other pets from Tanoe in the future, as I know and trust her after such good results with my own little dog. How is that puppy doing? I am much more concerned about its treatment than all this drama you splash all over everywhere. Is it eating? Has it been dropped? Why is this purchaser using the web to harrass, and isn't that against the law. Why is poster posting phone number, and isn't that against the policy of Rip Off. I am totally confused. It makes me so concerned over the puppy that I want to follow this to see how it fares. You never mention the poor little thing in all your rantings all over the web. I suspect most readers will be able to see thru your ramblings, as this same scenario is anywhere on the web they permit lengthy postings. For readers google Wolfe and apparently she is spending 24/7 on the web. When is the puppy cared for? For the reader the dogs are totally beautiful, and most everyone had healthy pups according to some of the rebuttals. When I get time will research this Vet in Pa. as this whole thing is sounding shady. I think most states have a Board of Revue you can file complaints with. I know they do with MDs

Dear Readers and Prospective Puppy Buyers, Tanoe has completely misrepresented the terms of a "full refund" and made false allegations stating I am not accepting this full refund. As I will explain below, this is patently untrue. She carefully avoids mentioning in her accusatory rebuttal the complete terms of her "full refund." Please read the verbatim copy of the e-mail she sent to me about this so-called refund. In brief, she is asking me 1) to retract my negative review of her on Puppyfind so she can sell her current puppy litter. Once I have retracted my review--which stands true to fact until she does in fact take back the puppy and refund my money--and after she sells her puppies, she states that she will refund my money within 30 DAYS. Here is her e-mail of the "full refund" offer to me, which she offered for the FIRST TIME EVER, on April 10th, just one day before posting her rebuttal on April 11th: "I would need you to ask puppyfind to remove the negative review that you have left. They have advised me that you may do so. I asked that you give me 30 days to sell one of my other dogs so that I may PAY YOU A FULL REFUND FOR YOUR PUPPY. WE WOULD MEET IN ROANOKE AS PLANNED AND WOULD GIVE YOU THE FUNDS FOR THE DOG AT THE TIME OF MEETING. I would be willing to refund you the 1700 plus the $138 for drive for a total of $1838. Pay pal and puppy find advises to do in this manner of exchange, funds when exchanging the puppy. I would need a signed statement in advance that there would be a retraction of negative reviews on all forums and our business if finished. You would know longer have any rights to the puppy or puppy placement. This would be up to my Vet and myself...as not sure of what the outcome at this point may be. You would have your refund and all comments or rights to this puppy would be given up with the return of your funds. All current prior, or future negative feedback on any forums would NOT be allowed. I realize on rip- off report you can not retract that ...but you may leave a new statement that all was settled. 1. Please understand that when I decided to purchase our puppy, Tanoe required a $500 deposit 6 weeks before receiving the puppy and the remaining $1200 paid via Paypal 3 days before final delivery. I complied with her requests. Yet when I asked her for similar protection for myself--a $500 deposit as a good-faith guarantee that she would abide by the stated terms, she adamantly refused. RED FLAG. I will contact Puppyfind and Paypal to see if they truly did recommend that the injured party bear all risks in the attempt to return the puppy. To sum up, Tanoe wants me to immediately retract my as-yet truthful comment on Puppyfind, thereby allowing her time to sell her remaining puppies, then wants me to drive 6 hours to Roanoke, VA, trusting that she will be there to take back a not-perfect puppy. I am to fully trust that at that time, a date which has not even been determined, she will THEN refund me $1838 cash on that day. What guarantee do I have that she will even show up in Roanoke to hand me $1838 cash in exchange for a puppy that many people, including the vets in her area whom I alerted, now know has a congenital defect? If she plans to abide by everything that she is stating, why will she not put down a $500 good-faith deposit, exactly as I did for her? I find it sad that her only defense thus far has been unsubstantiated accusations directed personally at me and comments from previous buyers, none of whom received a puppy with a grade 3 luxating patella or other congenital defect. Would a buyer who received a healthy puppy complain? As for her consistent claims that she has vet records to claim the puppy was healthy, I have yet to see such paperwork. THE PUPPY CAME WITH A HANDWRITTEN NOTE STATING THAT TANOE HERSELF HAD SELF-VACCINATED THE PUPPY. That is it. No other documentation. Ask any reputable breeder who charges as much for their puppies as Tanoe does if this is how they release their puppies.

I Tanoe Reed have offered Ms. Wolfe a FULL REFUND FOR HER PUPPY UPON MEETING FOR HER TO RETURN THE PUPPY. The question is why is she NOT ACCEPTING A FULL REFUND? She is wanting funds sent PROIR to meeting AND ALL FUNDING SOURCES DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS WHEN MEETING WITH THE PUPPY. I also have numerous pages of emails and have made many offers to this buyer. I have yet to receive PROOF OF ANY OF CLAIMS... AND YET AM OFFERING A FULL REFUND. I also have documentation that the PUPPY CHECKED OUT HEALTHY AT MY VET JUST PROIR TO GOING TO NEW HOME. Myself and many past VERY PLEASED BUYERS ARE QUESTIONING THIS? What is it that she is wanting? WHEN A FULL REFUND HAS BEEN OFFERED. Why does she continue to say she WOULD RETURN THE PUPPY, SHE HAS MADE KNOW EFFORT TO ANY TERMS so this may happen, with a full refund being offered. ...Will let the readers be the judge of this.

It seems that there is a very serious problem here. I purchases a Puppy from this person in the recent past and was ever so pleased. I was inside the home which was immaculate. She would not sell me the pupply until she was totally assured I would take very good care of it and provide a good, clean environment. I have also talked to another buyer who was extremely pleased. A breeder always does a contract, and it would be good to know that you read it in its entirety before all this. Also, why would your state wait 10 days to check a live animal...children could drop them or they could contract these diseases from other animals. Most people are aware that bacteria can be contracted overnight. A breeder, not knowing what type of person they are dealing with, must protect themselves by having a CONTRACT. Was this read by buyer and abided by. This does not seem to be the case. I, myself, have considered breeding my little dog, but am so afraid of SCAM ARTISTS who would abuse the puppy, overbreed the dog, and then try to use the experience to sue or abuse in some way such as seems to be common in this day and time. Why didn't this buyer just give the dog back for the seller to sell and get reimbursed as was offered. I am familiar with the seller and seems she has went by the contract and tried to be fair. I would be interested in actually seeing papers as proof of all this, as I saw no signs of this when I made my puppy purchase. TANOE HAS A WELL ORGANIZED AND CLEAN HOME WITH A CARING PERSON DOING WHAT SHE LOVED BEST ON A SMALL SCALE. Readers of these posts need to know that when you are dealing with buying of live animals, it is not a new tv, so you need to get to know the seller to see if they are caring. Tanoe is one of the most caring individuals I have met anywhere, so I really question the authenticity of this report. READERS, read rip off report closely and will notice contradictions.

In a point-by-point response to Tanoe's comments: 1. "Yun Wolfe is wanting a FREE PUPPY!" *Please let it be known I have no interest in a free puppy. I have over 40 pages of e-mail documenting that I asked Tanoe to work out a plan to return the puppy to her. *Would I really have gone through all this pain, trauma, emotional strain, and loss of time to get a free puppy after initially and willingly spending $1715 on her? After paying that price, I believed Tanoe when she said that I was receiving a healthy puppy. Our family certainly did not expect to pay that amount over again for surgical costs and future care, not to mention the risk of surgery on a small dog. *I am still more than willing to return her as long as Tanoe refunds my money. 2. "Running over her pet," *It is devastating to see Tanoe refer to this life-altering, tragic incident in our family's life in such a callous manner. To treat the passing of our beloved Coco in such an off-hand, disrespectful manner (a story about which she does not even know the intimate details) is heartbreaking to say the least. 3. "asking me to lower my price on puppy by $300,then to barter even the paypal fee's that was her choice of payment." *I don't fully understand her points or their relevance to this incident. 4."Then to find she was also buying a second puppy from another breeder at the same time?" *I purchased two puppies because we eventually planned to get two girls, and the other breeder only had one girl. Additionally, my friend wanted to purchase siblings with me, so we bought the two sisters from Tanoe. *But again, what is Tanoe's point, or the relevance here? 5. "The puppy checked out with a clean bill of health and negitive normal fecal check at my Vet...just prior to the transfer of the new home to this buyer. Puppy was happy and healthy when leaving my home! Shortly after Yun Wolfe received the puppy she called me with claims of a grade 3 patella and positive fecal." *Understand that the puppy came with no other paperwork than a handwritten note stating that Tanoe had self-vaccinated the puppy before she left Tanoe's care. *I have nothing else, other than Tanoe's word, that the puppy truly did leave her home healthy. *I do, however, have a 48 hr. vet check from my vet that clearly states "Unfit for Sale." *Both my puppy and her sister tested positive for extremely high levels of coccidia (13 day incubation period) and giardia (records I am willing to release). Both vets unequivocally told us that the puppies came to us already infected with those two diseases. *Let me reiterate that, as stated in my earlier post, Tanoe's vet's office told me over the phone that Tanoe only brought in ONE fecal sample for TWO puppies. 6. "I was just in shock, never had this happen and all happy buyers with very high reviews that you may see on puppyfind.com" *As for the high reviews on Puppyfind, I learned the hard way that a seller can contest any review, and while the review is being contested, Puppyfind will remove the review. I posted my unsatisfactory experience on April 1st, only to find that Tanoe requested it be removed that same day until Puppyfind could research the situation. *Unfortunately for an unsuspecting buyer, the time frame Puppyfind allows for a seller to respond to a buyer's review may be long enough for a breeder to finish selling all of her puppies. 7. "I would never place a puppy in this condition. With a grade 3 patella this would have been very noticeable." *Simply not true. Ask any vet. I asked my vet the same thing and she answered that it is not always visible. 8. "Then asking me how was I going to accomidate her problem with funds." *What problem with whose funds? 9. "When all was so PREMATURE. Stating she had 'FRIEND' THAT WAS A VET THAT WOULD GIVE AN EST. ON SURGERY...this quote started $1000 for a few days then quickly jumped up $1760 which she is demanding VIA PAYPAL on a 11 week old puppy. She was charging me for a LIFE TIME OF CARE FOR A PUPPY THAT WAS HEALTHY WHEN LEFT MY HOME, even charging me for her time. " *My 'vet friend' did quote a MINIMUM of $1000. He also happens to practice over an hour away. The least expensive local quote was $1200, excluding consultations, x-rays, supplements, rehabilitation, all which I laid out to Tanoe in my e-mails. The least expensive supplements were $50+/year over her entire lifetime. The vet recommended starting her on them immediately. *I asked for a Paypal refund for $1763--$1715 was the price I paid--plus $48 for medication to treat coccidia and giardia for both the sick puppy and the healthy one which also became infected (or she could pay $1748 by cash/cashier's check, since $15 was for a Paypal fee on the $500 deposit). *Where, when, and how did I charge for my time? 10. "Then wanting to return the puppy and me send her fee's PROIR TO THE RETURN, for much more than paid for the puppy with all these extra fee's added in!.." *Yes, I wanted a refund before returning the puppy to her, just as she demanded payment in full of $1715 BEFORE releasing the puppy to me. *Tanoe's offer to settle this whole affair was that I return a $1700+ puppy to her, wait until she sold the puppy before receiving my refund of $1700 only, and that I also shoulder the brunt of the cost of returning the puppy to her (a 16+ hr. drive from PA to WV). 11. "Threatening me with these sort of reports for payment on what I believe to be a total scam for a free puppy at best." *I did not file these reports to threaten her, but to alert and educate future buyers of my experience. And again, I have been and continue to be more than willing to return the puppy to her when she offers to refund my money. 12. "Telling many untruths about all!!!" *I ask that, instead of generalizing, she point out the "many untruths" I have told. 13. "Thankfully many former buyers, Vets and past Vets and now even co- workers( as buyer now calling my place of employment) have stepped up to the plate to help me in anyway they can with this buyers negative commets. " *I hope Tanoe has encouraged her former buyers, vets, co-workers to become informed with both versions of the story. *I called Tanoe's place of employment to alert her that I had sent her an important e-mail, because she had hung up on me when I tried to call her cell phone to deliver that same message. I had no other means of contacting her in a timely manner since she lives in WV, and I live in PA. My one and only call to her place of busiiness was brief, civil, and to-the-point. 14. In closing, I ask simply that you reread my original post and see if and how Tanoe has responded to my statements. The true test of a responsible breeder is not how she responds when all goes according to plan, but how she responds when a problem arises.

I called Tanoe's vet this morning, 4/3/09. She had contacted them as well. Due to HEPA privacy laws, the vet is not allowed to give out any official information about their clients without the client's permission. I felt bad that the front-desk person, in trying to defend the vet, had divulged as much information to me as much as she did--information that she probably got in trouble from the vet for giving out. It will take court action to get the vet to release a statement verifying my above claims.

I did not realize that it can take several hours for a report to post on the Ripoff Report. In my haste to alert other potential puppy buyers (she currently has a few Yorkies on sale at Puppyfind), I resubmitted my post a few hours after my first submission, thinking I had made a mistake because my first post was not showing up. The two posts are exactly the same, except for the location. Coopersburg is a smaller city within the Lehigh Valley.
