To anyone who has been defrauded in any manner by the company "Taxmasters".
I too was defrauded by this company, they took $3,000.00 from me and refused to return it. Others have actually had them represent them before the IRS and fail miserably causing all sorts of financial stress and tax liens.
take heart;
#1. We are putting together a class action suit against taxmasters and really need as many participants as possible.
#2. The U.S. Treasury Department is investigating them. I discovered this by talking to the Harris County DA office (Houston Texas) this morning. The request was for everyone who has been defrauded in any manner to forward copies of all correspondence, evidence, bank records showing they took you money - as well as a statement of complaint detailing the actions (or lack of action in most cases) taxmasters did (or did not do) to represent (or not) you to the IRS.

Thank you so much for posting this!! I posted a complaint on here February 10th about Tax Masters and they have taken me for $3,625 and it could have been $8,500 like they wanted but I grew wise to their scam!! I was contacted by my State Attorney General as they are also investigating them. I can only hope and pray that something can be done to Tax Masters and the people they have screwed out of money and not to mention how they played with their lives can get back what they took and hopefully more than they took.....I hope they go down in flames!! I will be gathering all of my information tonight and sending it in tomorrow!! I thank you again for posting this and I hope that everyone else reads this who have been taken to the cleaners by Scam Masters and sends their info to the US Treasury. Let's stop these fraudulent scammers once and for all!!
