I am providing the details of my experience with TaxRefundGuide.com in support of a previous report where it was suggested that a failing on one's part to cancel within 24 hours is a result of laziness. I doubt that one can call me lazy in as I have spent many hours dealing with this company and their associates, so fire away if you want to call me lazy.

A company that provides a 24 hour trial period is a rare bird especially when offering a program that they are not afraid to have people take an honest look at. I am trying to get my monies refunded and doubt that that will happen. My credit card was charged by both TaxRefundGuide.com and GrantsMoney.com so I have double the trouble in terms of working on getting a refund. These folks have designed the program and trained their online support chat services to hold the front line and provide a solid front to protect their activities. I expect that the supportive rebuttals being provided on this site are being submitted by one on their employees.

I am comfortable combining the two companies together in this report as though each provides a seperate phone number, their chat and phone support services are provided by the same company. During one particular chat session, transcription available, I attempted to have them email a confirmation of my account cancellation. Twice during the chat session an email was sent to me. That is what was said to me. Funny though, even though a 24 hour period has elapsed since the chat session and the sending to the two emails, non have arrived yet? Should I be surprised?

I guess surprise is not to be expected when dealing with these guys. I have sent emails to both support email addresses, and not received any response.

Again why should I expect them to respond ? When I signed up for the trial they failed to send me my account information. I only received my login details during a chat session when they wanted to prove to me that I was not entitled to a refund.

I have in fact never received any sort of email from GrantsMoney.com. No notification of charges to my credit card and gosh it just came to me. Who is lazy when they don't even send a payment receipt to valued customers. Perhaps customer value is not on their agenda since they seem to be operating on the old get what we can in one swoop. We know they won't be back for more as we are not providing anything in the first place.

Should i mention that the site to which I logged into on their direction did not have any personal information component. No place to change my email address, cancel an account or update my password or credit card information. The information contained in the site was taken almost word for word from the Government web site. I wonder if this is legal ? I also wonder if our

My story relating to TaxRefundGuide.com is a little different as I have never had any direct dealings with this company. It does not mean that they are not holding my money in their coffers however.

I like many others, I signed up for a $1.99 trial with GrantsMoney.com. As part of the package, I was to receive the services of TaxRefundGuide.com. for a price of course. I believe that both of these programs are overpriced for what they provide and the association or packaging of these two programs together obviously lacks intelligence on the part of the providers.

GrantsMoney.com is slated towards providing grants information for Canadians and TaxRefundGuide.com is a United States Tax information service. Why the two would be packaged together is beyond my understanding.

My experience with TaxRefundGuide.com was really scary. I received an email from [email protected] providing me with the login details for a complimentary account. A few days later I found that on that same day that I received the notice of a Complimentary account, TaxRefundGuide charges showed up on my credit card statement. This charge was for $38.21 US dollars.

Like I said, I am from Canada so did not log in or use the services of TaxRefundGuide.com. At this point I replied to the original email sender, [email protected] only to have it come back as an invalid email address. Despite this fact that I never access the account they helped themselves to $38.21.

Wish me luck on getting my Refunds. $38.21 US from TaxRefundGuide.com and $57.61 from Grantsmoney.com in Canadian dollars it is over a hundred dollars. And please feel free to call me lazy so I can retort with the calling of names in return. I was already accused of overlooking non existant emails in my spam box so let's go from there shall we.

After reviewing some of the complaints regarding the Grants360.com web site I did a little investigation. Grants360.com TaxRefundGuide.com and Grantsmoney.com are all using the same Chat support services. In fact you can enter the chat room for any of the sites and introduce yourself as a member of another one and still receive support. When comparing the site Terms you will note the address is the same for all three. responsive media ltd, 31 castle street, high wycombe, hp136ru uk I really love this part of the Terms from the TaxRefundGuide.com website where they state: You understand and agree that Tax Refund Guide is not responsible or liable in any manner whatsoever for your inability to use the Website and/or obtain any Online Products. The same clause is included in the Grants360.com Terms posted on their site. You understand and agree that Grants 360 is not responsible or liable in any manner whatsoever for your inability to use the Website and/or obtain any Online Products. And surprisingly it appears also on the GrantsMoney.com website terms. You understand and agree that Grants Money is not responsible or liable in any manner whatsoever for your inability to use the Website and/or obtain any Online Products. I have not had time to compare the site terms word for word but do believe that they are all using the same set of terms for the sites. This has not been confirmed as to their being exact copies of the same terms. It does seem however that it may be what is behind the common complaints about each of these companies where customers ( those who have had extrodinary amounts of monies being extracted from their charge cards. ) are not being provided with login details. Though these sites have terms posted which are held to be binding for those who subscribe for their 1.99 trial I suspect these terms as posted are not legal. I am a little fired up at present as not much bothers me to the depth as someone sticking their hands in my cookie jar. The large number of complaints about each of these companies and the evidence that they are in fact perhaps one and the same, fuel my mission.
